Only a flying visit, arrived late and left early due to attending a local training course. I was made to feel very welcome, room was very comfortable and breakfast substantial! Couldn't of chosen a better place to stay.

Neil and Susan were great hosts, very helpful and hospitable. I would be very happy to go back here again, it is a great area. The restaurant beside (different owners) is also... More

Many thanks reviewer99992013. You're right about the area, the Clwydian Hills 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' is a lovely place to live. We're glad you liked The Cherry Pie Restaurant located next door, Eleri and Simon are very welcoming. Kind regards, Neil. More

We stayed one night only as we were attending an event nearby. As in other reviews, Neil and Susan were very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was in a beautiful setting with linen tablecloths and the brook running alongside outside.

We stayed here with some friends for two nights in early October. We wanted somewhere nearby to friends as we were visiting for a birthday party. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived after a long journey up. The location is beautiful and the rooms are lovely and spotless. We ate next door at the... More

Many thanks for your review. When we opened 25 years ago, it was really tourists that we thought would be the main part of our business because of the lovely area that we are situated in. However we've been pleased to see that quite a few of our guests are travelling on business, we're only about half an hour from... More

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Old Mill Guest House. The welcome was unbelievable - nothing a trouble even though we were early. A quiet dinner at the nearby Cherry Pie Restaurant was perfect. Neil was even good enough to help us with a flat tyre on the hire car next morning - nothing a trouble to a... More

I had a 3 night stay at the Old Mil. This is a lovely location. I was made to feel very welcome. I stayed in the beautiful room 6, which was very spacious, clean and well decorated. We all arrived at different times ( 7 of us!) and made very welcome - first to arrive was given a welcome cup of tea in the attractive garden, and on the next afternoon we all had pots of tea in the afternoon on a lovely hot day. Good breakfasts and clean pleasant accommodation. Very helpful owners .Thanks again

I live reasonably local to this hotel but on this particular night I was attending a wedding nearby & due to the rural area I didn't want to get a taxi home hence my stay. I would completely recommend anyone to stay here. The location is idyllic and the Old Mill buildings extremely pretty on the eye. On my arrival... More

Dear SuzanneClaire, Great to see your review - thank you so much. We're very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. When we bought the premises, the guest accommodation building used to be a craft centre and the area that became the room that you stayed in was occupied by a glass engraver. A little different now.
