My wife and our 4 children hired the lodge at last moment, it is in a fantastic and very beautiful location. The lodge was extremely well equipped and new. The location is great and only 20 mins from the Elan Valley which is stunning and seeing the red kites being fed in Ryader is a must. Borth about 1 20... More

We were made very welcome by Patricia and Phillip, rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was superb, and Phillip provided a much needed taxi service down to the local pub, the Hundred House Inn (which is also recommended). Impressed with the flexibility of the accommodation provided for our group. A very scenic and quiet location off the beaten track.... More

We could only stay one night, unfortunately as it was lovely. We took the self catering place which was secluded in the lovely rolling hills of Wales. The house is clean with everything you would need. My husband and I took great pleasure in cooking up a storm. The bedroom was large and comfy, the bathrooms were spotless. Patricia was... More

We stayed here only for one night but it is a wonder place the views across the valley from the front of the farm is stunning. The drive up to farm is also very pleasant. The welcome was great and the owner Phillip does like a chat and is such great fun. The family room we stayed in was spaces... More

We had a short break in Mid-Wales to show our Norfolk born children some hills! We had a great size room for a family of four, with an option to self cater if we needed to. Lovely walks right from the doorstep and lots to do outdoors in the area. Phillip and Trisha were really great hosts and considering it... More

I was training for a 10 peak challenge and planned a trip to Brecon and stayed at Gaer Farm. Philip was very welcoming and the rooms were pleasant, comfortable and their sheep dog puppy was a welcome addition to the group! Breakfast was lovely, home cooked and they provided fully organic options. Philip took us on a tour of his... More

I wish I had read the other reviews before booking. I agree that they must run the B&B out of necessity, cause you do feel as if you are in the way. There was no TV or hairdryer in the bedroom. The bathroom was a bit grubby, the floorboards were very noisy, and there was clutter everywhere. The single track... More
