My friend and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending an event at the Builth wells show ground. On arrival we were greeted by Elsie, with the offer of a pot of tea, which came with a lovely freshly made welsh cake, in front of a roaring log burner. Elsie made reservations for us at a recommended local... More

We stayed for three nights in the double room. For us, Belgians, it embodied the perfect English tradition. All was very clean, we have had every day a delicious English breakfast with sausages, mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes and bacon. In entry there were fruits like melons and raspberries! On the picture the bed looks small but it was perfect! It was... More

Lovely peaceful accommodation on a working farm in the heart of the Welsh countryside with superb views of the surrounding hills. Comfortable bedrooms and a very good breakfast. Convenient for Builth Wells.

We stayed for one night in the double and twin rooms. The property is beautifully kept and very clean. Our hostess was welcoming and friendly with ready advice on the local area. The rooms look over hills on one side and the back garden going out to sheep grazing and trees. Very quiet and peaceful nights rest with great facilities.... More

We had a one night stay in this lovely bed and breakfast and we loved it. It is spotlessly clean and Elsie has paid a lot of attention to details. Everything you need is in the room, even slippers are available! Breakfast was yummy and filled us up for the rest of the day. We will definitely come back if... More

We stayed two nights and found the accommodation very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and we appreciated the finer touches like strawberries from the garden and raspberries with our melon. Elsie was very attentive and interested in our perception of the area. The farm is situated a few miles out of Builth along a quiet lane,... More

Warm welcome, cosy, snug, spotlessly clean. Mrs Pugh very accommodating and everything one could need was supplied. Well worth 5 stars. Very easy to find, directions first class. Yet, well off the main road so very peaceful and quiet.

We spent one night at Trecoed Farm but the service, standards of cleanliness were exceptional. The twin room was superb with tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolates and fresh milk. Breakfast was first class. Elsie made us very welcome and the facilities for our motorcycles were first rate with secure locked up parking. The help even extended to the loan of some... More

We've stayed at Trecoed farm many times, the main reasons being are that Elsie & Dilwyn are excellent hosts, always being friendly and helpful considering it is a working farm. the breakfasts are fab using local produce, they provide helpful information on the surrounding areas, it's a warm, cozy and comfortable place, you couldn't ask for anything more really. Can't... More
