This is a lovely quiet and characterful hotel in a convenient location just outside Cambridge. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and clean, and I was upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. I was just there for one night but would definitely recommend it as a comfortable haven for anyone planning a visit to Cambridge.

Found this absolute gem after a mix up over a hotel booking. Was met at the door by Roger a charming gentleman, who got us booked in and then upgraded us to an amazing room in the house. We were amazed by this property, perfect room perfect host and the breakfast room, large open fire delicious breakfast and excellent service.... More

We had an excellent stay here, and not for the first time. It is ideally located and near to the city for those visiting, but close to my office for business . The B&B is well maintained and you are looked after very well, very clean and comfortable and a short walk to the plough for a great dinner. Highly... More

Whatever you do, don't arrive before 4.00pm as you'll be sent packing to the pub around the corner. When you do finally check in, the room is warm and comfortable with a large bathroom and king bed. The house itself is well appointed, with an honesty bar system which works well and is reasonably priced. Also, the B&B tradition in... More

Having travelled on the train from Edinburgh it was lovely to arrive at such a nice place after such a long journey. Rectory Farm had a homely feel and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Rectory Farm is just a short journey from the city centre and would be happy to... More

I stayed the hotel with my 1year old daughter for 6 days. It was located in a lovely country side and we enjoyed walking in the garden. Such a nice place especially for one with toddler. My daughter seemed very enjoyed talking with all people at the hotel. They are very kind, helpful and friendly. I would like to stay... More

What a find this was. You feel like nobility as you drive up to the house through the tree lined avenue. We stayed in the chalet and our room was superb. The bed was really comfortable and we woke up feel totally refreshed. We had the continental breakfast and this set us up for a day of sight seeing in... More

Not long back from Rectory Farm B and B and would happily stay there again. Very attractive setting, comfortable and well-equipped rooms, and convenient location. Extremely handy for the M11 and Cambridge, and, despite its proximity to the motorway, the location was really peaceful, with beautiful views from the rooms. Didn't have breakfast this time ,(so didn't need to pay... More

Great find in Cambridgeshire close to major routes but peaceful. Great reception and rooms in the main house where I stayed. The room was pristine warm and very comfortable with full WiFi access and flat screen tv! Nice also to find a hotel with a moveable shower head over the bath and easy to work controls!
