This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel now, it was perfect the first time and even better the second time. Staff are very friendly, rooms are extremely clean, spacious, and great value for money. Easy to get too, taxi would cost you around £10 to get into the city centre. We will be returning ☺

Very poorly lit rooms, give us a decent bulb ! Very unfriendly feel to the place! Ridiculously expensive breakfast!! And everything had to be paid up front ! Have never had to do this before! Won't be returning!!!!!

I wish I had read the reviews before booking. It is really odd having to pay extra for breakfast, and the suggestion that the £10 continental breakfast is in some way special is misleading - limited range of cereals, several fruit juices, usual toast or croissant, some nice ham and cheese, tired fruit salad, yoghurts, boiled egg if you remembered... The surroundings are very pretty, so is the inside of the building (reception room, breakfast room). Our room was not big but very comfortable, very clean, very good shower and TV, superb views. We were very pleased with the service (even if they ask you for payment up front). The only negative point was about the breakfast: when we checked... More

The room was small with a low ceiling on the window side. In addition there was a beam across the room giving about 5'3" headroom alongside the bed. Breakfasts were expensive for what was on offer, the cooked especially so. The towels were very thin. However the place was clean and though the beds were soft they were comfortable.

The approach to the B&B is truly amazing ( a tree lined avenue) and you will not be disappointed by the accommodation. A beautiful house in amazing gardens. The standard of service and cleanliness of the rooms is first class. This was our second visit and it lived up to all our expectations after the first one. The buffet-style breakfast... More

A very pleasant and well run property. NOTE this is not a farmhouse, it is a small country house accessed down a long driveway set in 50 acres of land ! Take the breakfast, It beats even the best 5 star hotels, amazing selection served in a wonderful period style dining room. It is also within walking distance of Cambridge... More

I recently spent a very enjoyable two-night stay at Rectory Farm'. My room and the public areas were beautiful, and the facilities spotlessly clean. Booking was easy and it was a convenient location for using the park and ride into Cambridge city centre. The house and grounds were a very relaxing start and end to busy days, and the staff... More

This weekend was a treat for my best friend's 50th. We were delighted to see the beautiful farmhouse,at the end of the long drive,in it's beautiful surroundings. I was not impressed, however with what I can only describe as a 'luke warm' greeting. The owner asked for the £105 room charge & extra £20 for continental breakfast up front when we... More

Very good Cottage, with the sitting rooms full of English painting, and furnitures, farm, apple trees, rams… The surrounding is a typical English countryside, and the rooms of the chalet are very impressive and big. The whole long- stay holiday will be catered for in our room as it has an ensuite, a kitchen and a sitting room. Bed abit... More
