Even if one has to go into Luxembourg-city occasionally, it is a better choice to stay out of town, either in Mondorf-les-Bains or Ehnen. Mondorf being a traditional Spa and Hotel Grand-Chef a bit old, but comfortable with pleasant staff. Located in a quiet area near parks, good cuisine, safe parking. Older rooms renovated and spacious, nice view. Only thing... more

Was looking for a nightstop in Luxembourg en route to Germany and remembered this place from about 7 years ago. Was then very old fashioned but in a peaceful spot and we were wowed by the art nouveau houses in Mondorf les Bains. This time the hotel still reflects the traditional French style rooms which have been updated but not... more

Mondorf-les-Bains is a spa town, twenty minutes by regular bus from Luxembourg City. We stayed during August 2006. The hotel is a real gem, situated metres from the thermal domaine. The owners are the Bosseler family who with their staff are attentive and welcoming. The hotel web site provided deals that are good value. The room was adequate and quiet.... more
