“Home from home”

Unfortunately it was only for one night, would have loved to have stayed longer. We came for a family get-together and took 3 of the rooms. Lovely and comfortable. Attention to detail was amazing. From the moment we booked we were impressed with the efficiency and welcoming nature of Fiona and Norman. We were instantly updated with all the information we could possibly need from directions to a scanned image of our receipt. But best of all after a long journey we were greeted by a welcoming face with cake and coffee on arrival!... More

Planned arrival of supper time Sunday - Actual arrival 11pm due to cancelled ferry! This was no problem for hosts Fiona and Norman who were happy to receive us and reschedule our, and their, dinner for Monday. Stayed just the one night. Found my room (named 'woodpecker') quant, warm, comfortable & enjoyed a good night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was good too.
