We stayed a week in September 2011 at the self-catering unit ‘The Old Stable’ and were very impressed with the conversion; it is full of character and has everything a couple or even a family with young children would need for a self-catering holiday. A lovely warm welcome, a comfortable, well equipped bedroom, the use of a charming sitting room and food of excellent quality. All this and an attentive, friendly host. The Vine House for us is, when considering value for money as well, probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

I have stayed with Eve & Steve on many occasions and had a really warm welcome. The accommodation is always spotless, the breakfasts great and there are a couple of good pubs which serve food in walking distance. As well as the rooms, there is also a small self-contained converted stable which is really sweet and comfortable.

We could not fault Eve's B&B. Warm, welcoming and immensely helpful. Food all one would wish and accommodation impeccably clean. The modest bedroom was more than comp-ensated for by the delightful sitting room. A place we would readily recommend, and if we are in that area again we'll make for this home in Guilsfield.
