We have just spent 3 nights at Scaife Hall Farm and it was just lovely. The rooms, food, location couldn't have been better ( especially the yummy porridge for breakfast) Christine made us very welcome, we shall definitely be returning next time we visit Yorkshire. Thank you Christine.

Christine made us all ( four birdwatchers) very welcome in her lovely home with great views across fields full of lambs. A lovely b and b in a stunning area of Nidderdale Great breakfast with mainly local produce,. What is there not to like? A most relaxing place to enjoy the countryside.

It is apparently 25 years to the day when Chris and Christine Ryder opened their farmhouse to B & B guests and they have got very good at hospitality in the meantime! Excellent breakfast with delicious home-made fruit salad and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - what more could you want?

It often happens that one's youthful memories remain rose-tinted and in fact - almost perfectly formed in our mind's eye. That is ofcourse until we dare to return and revisit the source of great contentment from our past. In my case, it was Yorkshire, the dales and the surrounding towns nestled within and around it. The natural beauty is all... More

We have just returned from a 2-night stay at Scaife Hall Farm. What a wonderful place. The location is superb with amazing views over the valley below. The views out of the window of the breakfast room are amazing - and the view of the breakfast itself is just as good! Fresh fruit (including pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and figs), with... This is the second time we've stayed in Scaife Hall Farm. On both occasions we were there in the depths of winter to do some cycling in the Yorkshire Dales - as you do. The first thing to say is that the location is perfect right on the southern tip of the Dales, so near to townlife and major roads... More

We just returned from a 5 week stay in the UK. We began and ended our trip at Scaife Hall Farm, 4 nights at the beginning and 2 at the end. I found this place on line several years ago and have dreamed about this place ever since. Does it sound like I'm biased? You're darn right! We arrived a... More

We have been returned many times to Scaife Hall Farm for the last 15 years. We still look forward to the highest level of hospitality provided by Chris Ryder. The food is excellent, the location is peaceful and beautiful, and Chris is clearly dedicated to doing whatever she can for the comfort and well-being of her guests. It is always... More

We took a trip up north to see the family and chose the Scaife Hall Farm B & B as our base. Charming house with fantastic views of the countryside, smashing breakfast, room comfy and nice and quite. Would recommend to anyone.
