The four day stay my wife and I recently enjoyed was a most enjoyable experience. I think this is about as good as it gets. Christine is a superb host who is always willing to give tips on travel and eating establishments in addition to serving a breakfast second to none. The farmhouse is 1st class with lovely ensuite bedrooms... More

We visit Christine and Chris every year and every year it gets better! Tea and biscuits in front of a roaring fire is the perfect start to a stay that is always full of warmth and laughter. The ensuite rooms are cosy, extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are perfect in every way - fresh fruit, locally sourced food... More

Upon arrival we were greeted by Christine who was very welcoming. Pot of tea on arrival with an open fire - what more could you ask for! We spent a 2 night weekend break at Scaife Hall Farm and found our stay very enjoyable especially as it was the latter end of the lambing season. The bedroom was ensuite and... More

We arrived just as the snow was arriving in the dales. A warm and friendly welcome from Christine and realised how correct all of her previous reviews were after a quick look around and then we were shown to an immaculate double room. The service was second to none, with the finest cooked breakfast I have had anywhere. We did... More

Christine is a really friendly, welcoming and helpful host. Her breakfasts could not be bettered in terms of both quality and choice and the accommodation was exceptionally comfortable. I doubt you could find a better farmhouse b&b in Yorkshire.

We spent 3 nights at Scaife Hall farm at the beginning of a 2 week holiday in James Herriot country. Scaife hall farm is ideally located between Harrogate and Skipton and is perfect for visiting the numerous villages that are in the Yorkshire dales. Christine was there when we arrived at 4:00 pm and gave us all kinds of information... More

Scaife Hall is sitated in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. It has a romantic setting and everything about it is magical. We never have to work at having a lovely holiday - it just evolves on its own usually without even leaving the farm. There are always lots of things to see. There is the working of the farm, the wonderful... More
