Been the Carrigart a couple of times. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly, even at the very busy Bank Holiday weekend. Food was lovely, very reasonably priced, they make families feel welcome. I love the different eating areas. Will definitely be back for more. The Carrigart is no longer a hotel, but a great bar and resturant.

Have been through Carrigart many times and liked the look of the hotel so finally stopped yesterday for lunch in the bar. It was very quiet which surprised me as it was a wet day. I was disappointed by the decor - had expected some character but place was very bland - little Irish charm to be found. Menu was... More

I was last in the carrigart as a child nearly 30 years ago when we stayed there on holiday and whilst you cant stay in the hotel the lounge and bar area are lovely and tastefully decorated. This is our first family visit to the area since then and decided to give it a go. We visited twice the first... More

Have visited The Carrigart several times in the past few years for meals in the bar and found the food very tasty & well presented and service friendly & efficient. Oh how things have changed in less than 12 months......... Steaks and burgers as good as ever (although the quality of the chips has gone downhill). Deviate from these staples,... More

We have driven past the Carrigart for many years without ever visiting and decided to call in on our last visit to the area. I fully expected 80's decor but was very pleasantly surprised to see that we were very wrong! The Carrigart has been renovated in a very tasteful and contemporary manner. We sat down beside one of the... More

We didn't expect to find such a nice place and were pleasantly surprised. Sadly it is no longer a hotel but they have made a real effort with the décor in the restaurant. There's also a cosy bar area. The food was very good and the service friendly.

Went to the Carrigart on Sat evening for dinner. A warm and genuine welcome was received on arrival. The Bar was extremely busy with people having food, so we were shown to the reception area and seated in front of a warm open fire. The varied menu was mouthwatering just to read, and we duly ordered and devoured the delicious... More

Visited here on a very busy day it was the day of the all ireland match Donegal V Mayo so as you can imagine it was extremely busy especially at the Bar. The lounge area has been beautifully refurbished , very tasteful & relaxing, there were 2 nice open fires lit in the lounge. The restaurant was not open on... More

Its refreshing to have a proper restaurant in Carrigart that serves qualiy food. Now, in The Carrigart there's the Public bar, and in there you can have tasty 'pub grub' . Although I didnt partake of it the plates of food we saw headed that way looked extremely tempting. Now we dined in The Carrigart restaurant. This has all been... More
