I found Wern Bach by pure chance - I'm glad I did. Although it's a working farmstead, and out in the 'sticks' so to speak, that just adds to it's charm. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and showcased an accommodation that is exceptionally clean, roomy and modern. The downstairs bedroom is adapted for people with disabilities, which I... I stayed just the one night on my own as I was working in the area. The bedroom I was allocated was large and well equipped with an en suite shower and WC and a sofa and sensibly sized TV. There is however also a residents lounge. The bed was extremely comfortable and I could not have slept better. I... More

It's an amazing B&B in the village of Llanegryn. Nia and Chris are a warm and friendly couple. The stay was quite cosy and the room upstairs was very neat and clean. Nia suggested to visit Llan Bergyn and we enjoyed the scenic lake and dam on the way. We also visited the Slate mines and the Bounce Below ride.... More

This clean and tidy B&B is perfect for a rural getaway. Close enough to the mountains of Snowdonia for hiking, and a short drive from several cosy country pubs for dinner. It's so quiet and peaceful, with views of rolling hills dotted with sheep, with colourful flowerbeds and busy bird feeders nearer the house. Everything you could possibly need in... More

This review refers in particular to the staying in the static holiday caravan of Wern Bach property. As far as I know there are also B&B possibilities in the main house: on the ground floor - accessible for the disabled and on the first floor (not suitable for the disabled). We (parents plus two children) stayed there during our summer... More

What a treat awaits you at Wern Bach. I stayed whilst exhibiting at the Wood Fest in St Asaph and would be happy to return for the warmth and friendliness of Nia and Rhys. If you like tranquility, widlife (especially birdlife....lesser spotted woodpecker +!) then this is the place to visit.
