Exactly what we expected... This very quiet spot in a small town is an excellent place to stay in the Mekong delta. While resting in the Hammock, we were served some fresh fruits, tea ... The food was ok (Tip: not everything on the menu is available, order a day ahead) and we enjoyed the half-day tour the owner's daughter... More

This guethouse is put in a really beautiful setting. Water coconuts, small river canals, cheap fruit. You can explore with a bicycle and just get lost, you'll always find a way. No tourists here. The owner can arrange a tour and we decided on the boat tour for 35$. It was ok, you see some stops on the way and... More

We enjoyed the owner and his family's hospitality immensely. When we first arrived the English speaking owner was not around, so it was hard to find anything to do in the distant though idyllic town located about 12 Kim away from Ben tre. However, upon his return we were pleasantly surprised to hear about their many tour options. We ended... More

We came here to get away from the crowds, and to get a taste of rural Vietnam. We did.... In parts. We got of the bus and were accosted by the owner. His hotel was not what was shown in the pictures ( at the very least there was no red phone , look closely at the pictures there's loads... More

Before the modern bridge (2009), connecting Ben Tre and My Tho, this guesthouse was situated perfect for tourist arriving in Ben Tre, because the questhouse is nearby the old ferry dock, and from the ferry it was only ten minutes walking. Nowadays, if you use public transport, from Ben Tre main bus station to the guesthouse is around 10 km.... More

Ben Tre is really nice to discover the Mekong Delta, not too far from Saigon and not the most touristic airea. Thao Nhi GH is great because of the peacefull atmosphere 11 kilometers from the city town. The rooms are cheap (we barganed to 7 $ for a twin), the food is great an we did a great tour by... More

Thao Nhi is a locally owned eco guesthouse in Ben Tre - a very beautiful province in the Mekong Delta. If you want to experience the local life this is a wonderful place - the rooms are basic - but the surrondings / location is absolutely charming with the cannels and the lush greenery. The management is endearing. Thai, our... More
