My husband and I stayed 3 nights, and had a fantastic time. The lodge is beautiful as well as the grounds . Our room was very nice with open air bathroom and the plunge pool in front . Only thing is that the pools are filled with hot water - so if you want to cool down its not very... More

We were in Ho Chi Minh for a few days and didn't have much time, so stayed at the Mekong Lodge for one night, we certainly felt as though we got a good feel for the area in such little time, but also felt as though we had relaxed. The food was excellent and the meals are a set menu,... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a 20 day tour of Vietnam, after being in Saigon for 3 days this was like stepping into paradise literally! The area is beautiful, the lodges are lovely, we particular liked the open air (but private!) bathroom, food was delicious and the staff were wonderful and helpful. Tours are included and... More

Stepping off the boat we were greeted by staff and one with an umbrella (as it was raining). The semi-detached bungalows are basic (no tv) but cosy, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The open air bathrooms are a nice touch, however we had a problem with the hot water. The meals were very nice with a set menu. The bicycle tour... More

We had an amazing relaxing time here with perfect personalized service - no request was too difficult or too much to ask.Stepped out of our rooms to perfect river views where we could sit in our lounge chairs or individual plunge pool with a cocktail in hand and watch the traffic/life happen on the river. The atmosphere so tranquil and... More

We had the river view rooms. We enjoyed watching the river from the room or chairs in front. The service was excellent. We really liked our guide Khoa. He was fantastic, enthusiastic and good language skills. We enjoyed the food, cooking class, bicycle tours and the atmosphere.

Value for money . 3 course meals included in price. But if your a picky eater you may not like it . No snacks here. Breakfast lunch and dinner . Cooking class and craving of vegetables. Food is very good . Never ate the same meal twice. Rooms were more than comfortable with large bathroom . Some rooms have a... More

Sadly we only had one night at this hotel. Would have loved 3 or more. Not all the rooms have a private plunge pool [ours didn't ;-( ], so worth booking one of those. The cycling tour around the villages is lovely, including ferry boat crossings. The bikes are all reasonably well maintained....worth just checking brakes & tires before setting... More

My husband and I stayed at the Mekong Lodge for three days/two nights as a conclusion to our 2+week trip to Vietnam. We were blown away by the serenity, beauty and over-the-top customer service we experienced at the lodge. Highlights for us included the multiple bicycle tours around the city/villages, front porch pool, cooking classes, and the evening turn-down service.... More

We stayed at Mekong Lodge on the 3 day/2 night package after reading the previous reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and returned two days later, Mekong Lodge provided an extraordinary service. The journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Lodge involved... More
