The reception we were given on arrival excellant, with a small tour around. Room was absolutely gorgeous. The meal that evening was beyond all expectations, wish I could work in such an amazing place. Would highly recommend.

Having been brought a voucher for afternoon tea here by a colleague 3 of us came on Thursday, we were sent through to the room when 2 of us arrived and left to find it ourselves, then left for 25 until our other colleague arrived who then went of to find someone, the gentleman didn't seem to know why we... This is a stunningly beautiful Tudor manor house with exquisite gardens. Very well appointed in all respects. Comfortable and generous rooms. Really well thought through. Good food options with a bar menu as well as the restaurant. The wifi is a bit iffy in some parts of the building. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly

Either we just got lucky or some of the other reviews on here are seriously exaggerated because we found the hotel to be absolutely wonderful and it made our weekend at the Grand Prix extra special. Check in was smooth and we were greeted by a smiling and attentive receptionist who took a genuine interest in us and our plans... More

Afternoon Tea was very poor. Having booked specifically to sit inside, on arrival they presumed we would sit out side, so we had to wait for table to be set inside. We were disappointed that we had dinner plates, coffee cups and stainless steel tea pots. Not ideal for afternoon tea. I didn't think the staff wearing Jeans was appropriate... More

We stayed at the manor on the way back from Hampton Court flower show We given a glass of bubbly at check in. Although it was a last minute booking we had a lovely room overlooking the garden. It was a very warm evening so we had the option of a table on the terrace for dinner. They had more... More

We have just spent a wonderful long weekend at The Manor and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is lovely and the food (although a limited choice) was fantastic. The grounds are immaculate and ideal to sit in on those warm summer evenings or afternoons. We took a trip into Oxford using the local park & ride service, which is highly... More

This hotel could be truly fabulous. The building is gorgeous, lovely grounds, a perfect setting for an afternoon game of croquet. Our upgraded room in the coach house was immaculate with lovely elemis toiletries. What lets the place down was the lack of staff and attentiveness of staff. They were perfectly courteous but on arrival, we were early, our rooms... More

My mother-in-law to be had organised a bridal shower for 13 of the family a month ago. When she rang the hotel this morning they had no record of booking despite having received a confirmation email and paid deposit. Apparently the booking was taken by a different member of staff and had not made record of our booking. The restaurant... More

Anniversary , booked the Manor suite (room 8) overnight for dinner, B&B last night 27th June. Hotel location, grounds, common areas and our room was idyllic and my wife impressed. Booked dinner in the restaurant for 8pm. Comedy of errors and poor service and management. Starters were excellent, bread arrived after 25 minutes... Had to ask. Chef taster was prawn... More
