We were specifically looking for a secluded piece of Greece untouched by the all-inclusive hotel industry and generally as non-touristy as possible. The village of Kyparissi turned out to be exactly the right place for this goal and Kyfanta probably the ideal hotel there. The beach, which is fine pebbles absolutely comfortable to the foot, is some 500-700 meters long... More

The reviews here already tell you most of what you need to know. If you are looking for a simple and reasonably priced getaway, especially with a family, this is the place - beautiful scenery, crystal clear waters, and at Kyfanta you have hosts that will treat YOU just like family. Kyparissi takes a bit of effort to reach by... More

We have visited Kyparissi 4 years ago when we were just me my husband and my 2 boys and we have loved it. So we decided to go ago again this year, plus one, with a new baby boy. We were excited but a bit scared that time had polised our memories and wore out the hotel. Fortunately both the... More

This is really a very good choice for your stay at Kyparissi. The rooms are really spacious and new, really clean and attention has been paid to details (fully equiped kitchen, big closet, space for your luggage, windows everywhere so you have amazing views wherever you sit etc). Our room was on the first floor with very good views towards... More

Esther and Yannis of Kyfanta Hotel are the perfect hosts in a perfect place for travelers who like the tranquility of village life far from the madding crowd. In fact I should not be writing about this place at all. Our room was light and airy and large with a kitchen attached enabling us to make breakfasts and lunches. Staying... More

A massive thank you to Esther and all at the Kyfanta Hotel. 12 New Zealanders arriving from half way around the world were greeted with warm smiles and huge hospitality. The rooms were large and spacious, with amazing views. The Kyfanta felt like a home, with rooms facing a central court yard area. Breakfast was simple but delicious fare, and... More

We chose to spend our family summer vacation at Kyparissi, Kyfanta Hotel, after reading a relevant article at a tourist guide praising the place. Unfortunately, the village as well as the hotel did not meet our expectations. The village is quite average, with the exception of the small picturesque jetty. As for the hotel, the only good point was the... More

When we disovered Kyfanta we promised we will be back. Some greek friends have told us about this amazing place. Nice village, very quiet. Ester is always working to please her guests. She came some years ago from Barcelona and decided to stay in Kyparissi. Rooms are big, light, some with sea view or patio. Breakfast is daily made, Ester... More

My husband and I have been to Kyparissi before, for hiking and other recreational day trips, so we decided we wanted to spend three days there, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We contacted Esther and Yiannis, the owner-managers at Kyfanta Hotel and Apartments, and lucky for us, they had a room available for two nights. It took us about an... More

Shhh: Kyparissi is a well-kept secret. As my Greek partner remarked when we first visited a couple of years ago, "I didn't think places like this still existed in Greece." Kyfanta is the hotel of choice and is "green". The hosts, Esther and Yanni, are terrific.
