We picked this place because of its proximity to the Red Kite feeding station at Gigrin Farm in Rhayader. We booked by phone - no problems. We were welcomed by Anne in an extremely friendly manner and offered tea and delicious cake. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, a good size and the beds extemely comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked... More

Very impressed indeed. A really nice relaxing place to stay while here on business. Spotless and homely room and a great welcome with coffee and cake. A lovely breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts. Would recommend Guidfa House to anyone travelling to this part of the world! Thanks very much. More

We stayed here en route to north Wales and we could not have chosen a better place. Very warm welcome from Ann who lit the fire and fed us cake! Both she and Tony were very helpful with local knowledge. Tony gave us a better route to drive than the one we intended and he was so right - spectacular!... More

Thank you once again, Anne and Tony for a most enjoyable few days at Guidfa House earlier this week. As usual the accommodation was first class. Spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom, relaxing sitting room with a lovely log fire and the customary excellent full English breakfast. Absolutely first rate; we will be recommending you to all our friends. More

Ideal location for exploring mid Wales, or, as we did, visiting people in Llandrindod Wells - the nearby spa town. The reviews we had read were spot on. The accommodation is first class, breakfast suberb (Anne is a qualified cordon bleu cook), and Tony is an excellent host. Would certainly recommend over other establishments in the area. More

Although Guidfa House is situated at the roundabout in Crossgates, the double glazing makes sure you don’t have any traffic noise. So if you want to explore Mid Wales by car you can choose either direction to enjoy your holiday. Room and service are as you would expect from a five star B&B. Thank you, Anne and Tony! More

On arrival we were greeted with tea/coffee and home made cake..Yummy! The parking is ample but the cars need to be parked at an angle so that everybody can reverse out comfortably. Not a problem though! The room was very well presented, very clean and modern. The whole house was very well decorated and coordinated. Tony & Anne were very... More

The rooms are VERY comfortable and excellantly decorated. we were greeted with hot tea and home made cake after we'd settled into our room. We stayed for 3 nights and each evening whilst we were out for dinner, the bed was 'turned down', the curtains drawn and chocolate hearts placed on our pillows!!! The food was fantastic with a great... More
