We went to see the Pine Martens and were not disappointed, we got to watch 3 as they waited to be given some bread and peanut butter. We got a little worried when one got on the car and slide down the side but there was no damage done. This was not the normal type of place we would have... More

Received a four night stay as a birthday present from my family. We joined a Wildlife Group who were there for a week. Have stayed several times before at the Glenloy but never taken part in the Wildlife trips before. We had a fabulous time. We went looking for bats and moths after dinner on the first evening (with success),... More

We stayed for 3 nights. It was a nice stay and staff was very friendly. The lodge is located outside of Fort William but that makes it quite relaxed. Breakfast was good, nothing special. But our room was pretty humid and smelled a bit. We had to keep the windows open during the night.

We stayed at Glenloy in June 2013 for one of their wildlife holidays, recommend by friends. It was truly memorable and we were very well looked after throughout the week. John is an attentive and very knowledgeable guide, arranging distinctive trips each day and ensuring we got the best out of all the different types of terrain we visited. We... More

In the morning, our eyes were widened by a surprising pleasure on opening the curtains. There were many kinds of lovely trees as well as roses and other flowers...then we noticed Pine Martens playing on the ground!! We had a good short walk first thing in the morning then we had a lovely breakfast. What a lovely way to start... More

Excellent stay and good value for money. B & B with character and Jon was very friendly and helpful. Clean comfortable rooms and good plentiful breakfast. Nice communal room with T.V. and Wi-Fi, but neither available in bedrooms. Nearby Moorings Hotel good for an evening meal. Good location for exploring the Ben Nevis mountain range and Fort William area.

Located in a quiet environment outside of Fort William (you'll need a car), it's a great place if you want to relax close to nature and wildlife. The hosts also offer wildlife tours in the surroundings. Breakfast was great, freshly served at the table. Rooms lack a little isolation, luckily we only had noisy neighbours for just one night, otherwise... More

Spent one night in this charming Guest House. A true, old hunting lodge with lots of wild life in the surrounding area. The pine martens were frequent visitors during our stay. Rooms confortable and breakfast was excellent.

If you want to see pine martens then this is the place to stay! I had great views of them and saw at least two different adults and one kit over the course of about an hour. They get very close so you can take some good photos. There are also lots of birds to watch on the feeders and... More
