We stopped of at the Berwyn arms for a bite to eat on our way to Pwhelli. We had a lighter lunch as we planned on dining out in the evening. I had a tuna mayo bagette with a side salad and my partner a hot roast beef and gravy bagette with chips. The waitress showed us to another room... More

Stopped on our way home from Barmouth for lunch. We both had Berwyn sandwich. It was fabulous beef, mushrooms, onions and cheese on a huge bagette with chips. It was 7.95 and great value for money it was lovely and we couldn't eat it all there was so much. Staff were lovely scenery was great. Would definitely eat here again... More

We took the historic route & passed this on our way. Ever so slightly eccentric! It was a lovely day so sat outside. Absolutely stunning rural views & friendly goat!! Food was good honest home cooked fayre with a good choice of both specials & menu. Really friendly owners. Glad we stopped here.

Although the pub itself is a beautiful old building and overlooking great views it was let down by poor service and disapointing portions ,took friends who were visiting the area for the first time for the Sunday lunch paid extra for the bigger portion for the men and the medium size for the ladies. Got to say for the price... More

Stopped over for a meal at the Berwyn Arms on our cold and wet drive home. We chose to eat in the cosy bar rather than the restaurant area and were welcomed by a few locals and the bar staff. Our choices from the menu and daily specials board did not disappoint, staring with spicy chicken wings and a "piping... More

First time visit to this pub and we sampled the Sunday Lunch. Sadly very poor, 3 of the 4 diners were dissatisfied with the meal. Which incidentally was the lamb Sunday lunch. All 3 meals were left with a sizeable amount of of fat on the plate. I would question if this was a lamb joint as it had the... More

We've eaten here a number of times and some meals have bee great and some are below par. The pub and restaurant is great, has fantastic views over the Berwyn's and is well worth the short drive up from Corwen. The restaurant is always clean and the staff always friendly. I think more effort could be made to stock some... More

Four of us called in for a meal didn't book but it was Tuesday, no problem. Couple of Plessey beers to start with, girls had white wine and soda, my son had lamb curry, daughter in law mixed grill, the wife steak and ale pie and I had medium rare rib-eye steak, a bottle of Rioja to wash it down....
