We had Sunday lunch here today, amazing value for money, food excellent desserts too die for, Neil and Ellie can't do enough for you very helpful couple, their staff are all very pleasant, beer garden is a big plus plenty of room with plenty of seating,we can't wait to try out other food on the menu, and another Sunday roast... I couldn't fault this place if I tried. My evening meal was superb and very reasonably priced. We were treated like royalty all evening and after a fantastic nights sleep in a lovely room we were greeted with smiles, coffee and a breakfast that sorted us all out for the rest of the day. Very friendly staff and a great... More

If you are in North Wales avoid the Antelope. The bed was broken, toilet seat broken,no toilet paper and just packets of dry cereal for breakfast. The management had failed to restock the fridge with continental breakfast. This trip had been a present for my son and his girlfriend. I cancelled the rest of the booking and moved them to... More

We booked a one night bed and breakfast to take in the Ale Trail event. We arrived at lunchtime to welcomed by the manager, who took us to our rooms. The whole pub/ hotel is in need of considerable TLC. The meals at our evening meal were a let down . In all a disappointing stay.

As part of a deal with the owners Neil and Ellie, we were very kindly offered B&B as we had quite far to travel to play the gig. There were excellent real ales on offer. I did not have food in the restaurant, but we were provided with sandwiches after the gig - nothing seemed too much trouble! In regards... More

I have recently moved to the village of Rhydymwyn. The nature of my work often does not allow me time to cook for myself and therefore I depend on eateries for survival. Neil and Ellie at the Antelope offer exactly what I need. Varied menu, home cooked food and all at reasonable prices. I have eaten there three times in... More

Paid £35 each single rooms - for three of us which included continental breakfast only. Did not mind that at the time because it was a Saturday night - but on arrival outside the pub was a sign saying '£25 single rooms?' On querying it with manager was told 'sign was out of date' and should not have been there.... More

Called in on spec at 6.30pm to see if they had a room for the night. The landlady made us welcome immediately and was very obliging. We had a very pleasant stay, enjoyed a lovely evening meal and a nice pint of real ale, all reasonably priced. The landlord was also very friendly making us feel at home straight away.... More

Fantastic place to stay. I booked in for 4 nights whilst working in the area, can't fault any aspect of the hotel/pub. The room I had was a single, which was spotlessly clean, en suite, spacious and excellent value for the price. The food at the Antelope is spot on, a good menu at affordable prices . The owners Ellie and... More

A group of four of us called in here on the way home from a day at Llandudno, service was efficient and friendly and all the food and drinks were reasonably priced. One slight issue with one order of "potato skins" that turned up as a rather small individual half potato "skin". The melon started looked lovely and fresh though!... More

Firstly, thankyou for taking the time to write your review. With regard to the Potato skins, you will be pleased to hear that we agree with you and have now changed the format of the dish.... we are glad your dining partner enjoyed the Melon, incidentally the fruit compote served with it is home made. My apologies that the order... More
