Hadn't been to the Harp for a long time due to poor recommendations, but called for a meal over the Bank holiday. The restaurant was busy but we had a table. Good choice on the menu. The food was superb and enough of it too. Service good too. Will be back.

Returned to the Harp again, and as usual warm friendly welcome. The restaurant was full, but the service and food was excellent. We will definitely be back again. We have eaten here on numerous occasions and the food and service never disappoints

Big fan of this place. Huge Sunday lunch and the deserts are stunning! Brilliant value for money and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Would recommend to anyone, even those just passing through Haverfordwest - this is well worth a small detour!

Passing and calling in on the off chance of a Sunday Roast. Not the most friendly of welcomes from the lady behind the bar. She seems a bit stressed to say the least. Said we would like Sunday lunch, got a curt reply, Roast beef only. Fine, so order 2 Roast Beefs. Not the most flavour some beef, but accept... More

Our welcome was excellent. 6 little cottages. I walked into our room and it was welcoming and really really nice. I'm the type of person that needs to unpack and explore, even if it's for one night. So comfortable, really quality furniture and set up. Looked very new and inviting. The bedroom and bathroom are of a high standard. We... More

In short, popped into today around 2pm after the Pembrokeshire Show because the sign outside says 'Open all Day' ... Come 3pm we are told "sorry we are closing and will open at 5.30" ... Moved up the street to 'Something's Cooking' and had a wonderful afternoon with friendly staff and money well spent. Goodbye The Harp, you won't see... More

Travelling on holiday and almost there needed a meal as it was late evening. Lovely place to stop and very popular with locals although very rural on the main A40. Food was varied and good choice but I had liver and bacon and was disappointed as there was so many cubes of gammon and very little liver. Friend had a... More

Went here for lunch with Grandparents while visiting them in Pembrokeshire. Went here for lunch, can't remember exactly what I had but the meals overall were very nice. If you ever visit the area around Haverfordwest, make this pub a point to visit. Meal sizes are definitely worth the money you pay plus the view from the conservatory is very... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2015

We stayed here for a weekend in July and had a lovely stay. The hosts were welcoming and the Welsh speaking member of staff was very friendly and caring. The room was lovely and had been decorated to a very high standard, it was also spacious and private. The bar and restaurant were a little dated in decor and the... More
