We were the only guests during our recent stay and felt like we were at our own fantastic home. The property is beautiful, the rooms clean and comfortable. There is no AC but it wasnt really a problem as there was a nice breeze. Horseback riding was fantastic-my husband was able to run on the horses which is often a... More

The house and garden, featuring a naturally filtered pool filled with spring water are lovely and very well maintained. The surrounding combination of mountainous and flat landscape is more dramatic than in other parts of Uruguay and allows for some interesting riding on the posada's excellent quarter horses. The rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable and with Italian style... More

My family and I will keep on taking and remembering our staying in Rincon Del Abra as one of our best vacation times ever. Ursula is Ann awesome host, she will make you feel like you haven't left home and her staff is just the kindest and most incredible. The pets are as sweet and the food... The food was... More

Attention to details and personal assistance make this one of the best estancia stays in Uruguay, and we have been to a few. With great planning and execution, Ursula and her well-trained staff offer a very comfortable and relaxed way to enjoy the beautiful countryside, either on horseback or hiking the hillsides. The guestrooms are large and well appointed and... More

From the second we arrived to the moment we left, our stay with Ursula was unforgettable. Having stayed all over the World in many weird and wonderful places, none created so many lovely memories in such a short space of time. Our room was beautiful and, to make it extra special as we were on our honeymoon, Ursula had set... More

The hospitality that Ursula offers is something very hard to find in uruguay. It can be traduced in charm, friendship, every moment she is there to attend your needs. Great accomodation with luxury and spacious bedrooms, with its own fireplace. The countryside is beautiful and you can hike or do horseriding around the area. Perfect place to go with your... More

a really cultivated, high level small posada, better food, more tastefully furnished then anything we had so far in Uruguay (that includes the 5 Star Conrad where we stayed following night). The european owner lady invests a lot of attention into landscaping, decoration, and every conceivable detail. Not cheap by b&b standards, but justified, we enjoyed the stay.
