My partner and I stayed at The Trewern Arms after spotting it during a motorbike ride around the Welsh coast. We had a lovely welcome and were shown to a lovely, well appointed and clean room. The room was in a very quiet part of the hotel with a pleasant view. We enjoyed the surroundings and the banter of the... More

My family and I stayed here last night and I'm ashamed to stay we will not be returning anymore, this used to be the only place to stay for us when visiting west wales but no more, the staff were nice but not trained, the family room we stayed in was not even worth half of the £60 we payed... Stayed at the Trewern arms with a party of 15 friends for new year. Fantastic time food was amazing... owner and staff could not do enough for us. Our rooms were spotless. Most of our party stayed 2 nights. Even had a firework display to see new year in which was amazing. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Breakfast was also... More

Fantastic landlord and lady. Great local knowledge. Room was a good size but rooms could do with a bit of TLC, as bathroom was very tatty with broken sink and missing tiles in bathroom. Pretty clean though. Charming pub with lots of little areas to sit. Limited menu in pub with hardly any specials although food good. Great selection of... More

Stayed here on the 30th of October and was very impressed. The room was very clean, spacious, and warm, just what you need after a long day. We ate in the bar area and the food was superb. All very fresh produce and great homemade meals. However i wasn't very impressed with an abusive family of 6 that were quite... More

We took our four children, one in a wheelchair, to this pub for an evening meal whilst on holiday in the area. We were given a table in the farthest corner of the restaurant, well out of the way. Our waitress said they had no ales but after a trip to the bar we found they had a couple, including... More

Stayed Oct 9th for one night. Room perfectly adequate, nice shower. Really great food with exemplary service. As we were joining the coastal path at Newport (circa 1 mile from Trewern), the owner gave the 5 of us a lift. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a two night stay in this homely, country hotel set beautifully next to the river. Hosts, Kevin and Vicky made us very welcome. Our room was a good size, bed very comfortable. A good range of meals on the menu with prices to suit all pockets. We had the "Surf & Turf" , steaks cooked just how we like... More

Just stayed one night before boarding the ferry to Ireland. Such a welcome after a long drive and such friendly staff to the point of telling me the best tree to stand under to get some sort of Vodaphone reception. Vicky and Kevin and staff worked really hard to ensure we had a very comfortable stay. The bedrooms were a... More

My husband and I stayed here during a trip around west wales. They were extremely accommodating even though I booked a couple of hours before arriving. We were allowed a family room (only family rooms left) at a double price. Breakfast was very limited and I felt pricey however the evening meal was really good value for money and good... More
