From reading the Allt y Golau Farmhouse website you surmise that a lot of thought and effort goes into making guests feel welcome; you will not be disappointed. Colin and Jacquie deserve their many hospitality awards. This farmhouse is second to none. The minute you walk though the door you are made to feel at home.Colin and Jacquie are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble but they do not hover. We enjoyed our stay at the Allty Golau B&B when we were in Wales recently for a short golfing holiday. Very pleasant bedrooms plus a lounge for the use of the guests, and an excellent fresh breakfast to start the day - fresh poached eggs from the free range hens on the farm are definitely recommended! Someone sent me an e-mail slide show of wonderful trees of the world and I was lured into Wales to see the yew tree tunnel at Aberglasney Gardens, so I checked out nearby B&B's and happened across the Allt y Golau which was close to those gardens and the equally wonderful Welsh National Botanical Gardens.
