Every steak ordered was one level over cooked eg; I ordered medium and there was no pink colour at all, more like well done which was a shame as it was a nice cut of... More

This was our halfway point for our recent trip to Portland. The menu was simple which is just the way I like it. The food was great and the staff friendly. I recommend this for anyone passing through. They are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, so we were told.

Stayed while on the way to Sheepvention. Luke makes a great host with great rooms comfy beds and brekky in the kitchen. The locals James, Fordy and the rest made our stay quite enjoyable! it's a very friendly pub atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.
