Wonderful wonderful hostel. I would definitely stay here again. Everyone was so nice and the rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff was wonderful from start to finish from rides in and out of carcassonne and to the train station!!! The breakfast was delicious!! I hope I can stay here again!! :DDD Thank you again!!

Wonderful place in a quiet town. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. The guests and regular patrons of the restaurant were all very pleasant and friendly people as well. I highly recommend Castelchambres.

Wear earplugs at night. The church bell next door rings on the hour, all night. No problem, the knockout twentysomething daughter of the proprietor said - you'll get used to it after two or three nights. That said, the room was clean and comfortable, and le patron and his staff really put themselves out for us when we arrived late.... More
