As a Gold Coast local I have been wanting to stay at RACV for a while now but am disappointed. We stayed for a conference and found the room on the 11th floor dated - in particular the bathroom which looked like an early 90's throwback. Some of the facilities are great but the place as a whole felt a... More

I didn't think that going to a Golf resort was a great way to have a refresh weekend with the wife. I was completely wrong. From the moment you check in to the moment you leave there is plenty to do with out even leaving the resort. The food in the restaurants is fantastic - the Japanese restaurant Arakawa is... More

Apart from the crappy feather pillows, this resort is all you'd expect from a quality facility. I had a great view across to surfers paradise which I recommend asking for when you're checking in. Breakfast is pretty amazing, with everything you could think of to choose from including what were some truly delicious pancakes. We went for a walk around... More

I had the opportunity to stay at RACV Royal Pines for a conference. The location was fantastic. We stayed on the 19th floor and a had a fantastic view from the balcony out to the west. The room was great although being 6 foot 2, the double bed was a little on the short side for me. We had a... More

Dear Glenn G Thanks for your recent review and great to read that your conference went well, One of the things a lot of our guests do mention is the view - our location gives a great view either to the Gold coast strip or in to the bushland of the hinterland - both are really attractive views. I have... More

Royal Pines is a nice hotel with a good golf course and attracts a range of guests including conference attendees, which is why my wife and I were staying there. However, the experience did not live up to expectations. We arrived on Saturday, and on Sunday morning before 10am our door was knocked on twice by staff wanting to clean... More

Dear SteveW. Thanks for your recent Trip Advisor review and thank you for staying with us. Yes we are a nice hotel and usually with much better service standards. I agree, lack of attention dulls an experience and I’m sorry that this was the case during your visit. I have since discussed your comments with our Rooms Division and Food... More

I recently stayed at RACV Royal Pines for my 2nd time this year. I was blown away to see the new Day Spa and from a peak through the window - a new Fitness Centre that is not the usual Resort type gym. Both are amazing and have added to this as a location of choice. The golf course used... More

Dear Bowen K Thanks for taking the time to review RACV Royal Pines - and for your kind words about the Spa (which is getting rave reviews) and our recently opened new Fitness Centre - as you say, it is not your usual Resort type gym - it is state of the art, with amazing facilities. We look forward to... More

We've stayed at RP many times as we tend to have a annual conference there. This time we stayed with our 2 kids in a corner suit. So much better than a twin room, heaps more room to move about. Plenty of room for 2 rollaways if needed and with the split level it feels more like an apartment than... More

Dear Michelle1921 Thanks for your review and your update on the resort refurbishments - as you note, there has been a lot of work done recently on the resort with our beautiful new purpose built Spa, the new Conference and Events facilities, a new walkway to the pool, a new gymnasium and work on the first 9 holes (of an... Loved this room, it had an amazing view of most of the golf course and ponds and all the buildings in the distance along the coast. There was a balcony you can step out on to enjoy all of this in the fresh air. The room was a great size and was clean and modern. The bed was luxurious and... More

Dear annika81 Thanks for your revioew and delighted to read how much you enjoyed your recent stay with us. As you point out, the views are amazing - one of the advantagtes of the set back location is the great uninterrupted views over the Gold Coast strip and back up into the hinterland. Just for future visits - we do... More

Just had a 4 day Conference at the Pines Resort. Staff are excellent , rooms are great. Hydrate Bar is a top spot , very quick service. Golf course is OK. Beds are excellent. Only thing i would say was under expectation , way under , was the WIFI , extremely slow. Otherwise i would recommend it..

Dear Rob B Great to read how much you enjoyed your recent conference at Royal Pines - our new conference facilities (especially the glass walled ballroom) are getting very positive reviews from delegates and organisers.
