You get what you paid for - in our case, we paid 5usd for two persons a night, which, at 2.50usd per person, is a steal considering that we had a beachfront hut, a double bed, and a balcony in a secluded area of this 7km beach. But that's where the apparent beauty stops. We were there during low season,... More

We've been warned that this place (which is unfortunately the only accomodation at Long Beach; or at least at the southern end, there are possibly some more, 7km up north in the small village) is "very basic", but that's a total understatement. If it wouldn't have been for the wonderful and nearly abandoned beach we wouldn't have stayed there in... More

Bungalows very basic, theres nothing excessive in a room, but some how it's all you need there. Rooms are clean and very basic. Thats truly jungle there, and bungalows are still in the front of the sea. We've been travelling 5 months now when im writing this, we were in BHGH 4 months ago. We have seen tens of beaches,... I stayed at BHGH in Spring 2012 and it was once of the nicest trips of my life. I LOVED it. Most gorgeous scenery, amazing white beaches, beautiful for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing, it's remote, it's quiet, it's not very touristy - and that's the best thing about it. A bit pricey, but worth it. Love the bar and the... More

I spent two nights in the dorm room and it was a very bad experience. The room was full of rats, which ate my bag and ran around the bed and ON the bed. I didn't sleep. I never complain about spiders or cockroach (because it is normal to meet some in Cambodia) but a place full of rats for... More

Was planning to stay for 3 or more night but after first night checked-out. At first look my bungalow was kind of ok (for 25USD at least) but very far form reception area (about 10min walk on a small path) but there was no shower facilities (at all). But the nightmares started after sunset (around 7pm) when it got dark... More

Very nice place, friendly staff. Totally isolated from the rest of the island. I read some people complaining about the rats, but this place is in the middle of the jungle, so you will find mice and other animals as they live there. This is a real jungle experience, and I strongly recommend that you take the walk trough the... More

Broken Heart is situated on stunningly beautiful white sand turquoise water beach. The $30 a night bungalow we stayed in was perched right over the ocean, yet quickly presented itself as the most overpriced place we stayed in during our 2 months travel. The front door to the bungalow was held on by one hinge, as the other two had... More

This place is truly paradise. White beach, turquoise water and almost no people, you can swim with plankton that glows in the dark. Food in the restaurant is good. With this said.. The accommodation is not good. Not clean and more like shelter than accommodation. We payed $10 per person for this (too much). We had rats eating stuff from... More

I just came back from Koh Rong and stayed at the brokenheart guesthouse aka BHGH. Wow what a beautiful and peaceful spot, the best place to relax and take it easy, great and funny staff lovely food. And we stayed in this basic bungalow, with a nice balcony with the best sunset i've seen in Cambodia, so for me and... More
