Cabins are very spacious with romantic four-poster beds with mosquito-netting conopies. The beach is a short walk away (turn left when you walk out the main gate). Good food (we mostly tried their Sri Lankan options) + good tea :) Although the place is nice, there is not that much to do, so I would not recommend staying for more... More

Nice small resort adjoining to a river(beach is about 250M away from the resort). Nice average rooms with clean bathrooms. They serve Chinese and italian. Buffet menu was available for lunch. Choices were limited but food was okay. Pool was clean. But they allow customers to use the pool without proper swim ware. Sun beds were old. You can try... More

We stayed at Kumudu Valley in order to waterski. The hotel is small, about 20 cabins. Good Points; We had a superior cabin which was a large L-shaped room with two double beds, a sofa, chairs, plenty of storage and a large fridge. We had no problems with holes in mosquito nets or in the screening over the top of... More

I water-ski and my husband likes to go cycling ,sightseeing and relaxing. This hotel was the perfect base to suit all our needs. The unique location of this hotel makes it a very special place. It is in a remote area and sits beside a stunning lagoon full of mangrove trees and at the end is the beach. The surrounding area is a real... We came straight from Bandaranaike airport, because we prebooked this accomadation in advanced. That´s huge plus for this resort, because other hotels/guesthouses taking reservation only as possibility that some guest are comming, even you paid some fee :) (booking, agoda etc., later they should be banned by provider, but different story). Because we came after long flight from Europe, we... More

I used this as my home base while traveling in Sri Lanka. It was arranged by my friends (who are Sri Lankan and live locally). I arrived at the hotel at around 2:30-3am, and was welcomed warmly by the staff there. The room had been prepared, and the hot water and airconditioning had been turned on prior to my arrival...
