Lovely, peaceful setting, the house is set back from the road in beautiful gardens in a shallow, tree-lined valley just outside Conway. We stayed for three nights over a weekend. Hosts were charming and helpful, but unobtrusive. Our double room was smallish and the en suite shower room a bit confined, but we slept really well on a comfortable bed.... More

One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed in. Hosts were super friendly and Alan is a fantastic chef.Don't bother going elsewhere to eat - the 3 course meals with menus changing nightly and selection of wines are superb. We cannot praise the quality of the food highly enough. The Rowen suite is an excellent ensuite room with views over... More

Very nice country house. Room was beautifully clean and comfortable. Atmosphere was relaxed but attentive. We chose the evening meal option which was an excellent table d'hote menu full of great locally sourced options. The food was exceptionally good. All around, a good stay. Just one tip, listen to the advice from the owner (Alan) on directions and don't follow... More

We stayed one Saturday night and all very comfortable and owners attentive. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately, felt it was overpriced at £135 for bed and breakfast. It's often the case that hotels do later breakfast times on Sunday's but Tir Y Coed's breakfast service finished at 9am and room to be vacated by 10am.

Tir-Y-Coed is a delightful country house establishment situated in an ideal location from which to explore the beautuful Snowdonia countryside - mountains, lakes, coast, interesting villages and towns. We had a 3 night break staying in the lovely Rowen suite which was very comfortable, light, airy, spacious and with plenty of storage space and nice views over the garden. Pre-dinner... More

Stayed for one night with a group of friends to celebrate my wife's 'special' birthday. Part of what made it special was the guest house and the atmosphere the owners have created. You don't get 93% excellent reviews for nothing and I can only echo the comments of so many of the other reviewers. We started with drinks on the... More

You are amazing hosts and that's what sets you apart from anywhere else we have stayed. Food has always been exeptional and you love our four legged friends that rate you a... More

My wife and I stopped here for Saturday night and it is a real treat. Alan and Ian and great hosts and made us fell as if we had been there many times. We stopped in room 6, which is upstairs and has a great view of the garden. Really comfy with a luxurious feel and decor. We had dinner... More

Alan & Ian have created a fantastic experience, Tir Y Coed is Welsh for "Relax & Chill" it must be..... Alan's custmer service is 2nd to know, and Ians magic in the kitchen is Masterchef class he cleverly tweaks the menu each night. We stayed for 3 nights one I had ribeye steak it was cooked to perfection it melted... More
