When we pulled up in front of Sheepy Lodge we just knew we'd chosen the right place. What a lovely welcome from Julie and her very large, yet friendly dogs! Our rooms were huge, luxurious and so well equipped. The bathrooms were large and welcoming. Breakfast was a friendly affair - it's good to sit with other guests and chat.... More

We stayed for two nights at Sheepy Lodge, as we were going to a wedding nearby. We stayed in the Lord Nelson room, which was a lovely size, with an enormous bed and good sized bathroom. Like everyone else we found Julie very friendly, along with the large, but lovely dogs - Bill and Ben. Everything was very clean. The... More

We only stayed at Sheepy Lodge for one night, but it was the best one night I've ever had! The house it's self was stunning and it was set in such lovely, well kept grounds. We were greeted by Julie who was polite and helpful and ensured we felt relaxed and welcomed whilst showing us to our room ' Sir... More

We made a last minute booking here when we needed to visit some relatives nearby. While it was a little tricky to find (without a GPS) this old house positively reeks of atmosphere (in a positive way) and has wonderful facilities. (I've never seen a bathroom so big in my life). The owner was very helpful (and is also well... More

We were greeted as if old friends, the breakfast was fabulous, the rooms spacious full of character with all the mod cons you could need. We came across this B&B via the internet. We went to a wedding in Ansley and could not find any suitable accomadation there. My husband came across this little gem, although it was 30 mins away from Ansley it was well worth it. We stayed in the Lord Nelson room and what a room, luxury is the best way to... More
