We stayed at Trericket Mill for four nights in mid-May, including National Mills Weekend. Nicky and Alistaire looked after us extremely well, both being helpful and attentive but never intrusive. The mill offers spacious and intriguing accommodation with relaxing gardens, despite being adjacent to a major road. Although not vegetarians we enjoyed both our lavish breakfasts and evening meals -... More

Just returned from a thoroughly relaxing four night stay in the newly refurbished bunkhouse at Trericket Mill in the Wye valley. Just across the mill stream from the renowned veggie guesthouse, the bunkhouse has its own grassy frontage on the side of the stream. At the time we stayed in early May, the grassy bank marking the righthand boundary, was... More

Great food, great hospitality, great accommodation! Couldnt fault it! We stayed in the B&B friends stayed in the campsite which was opened specially. Helped out with getting stuff dry after an extremely wet day in the Brecons. Really friendly and helpful. Will be staying again!

I have stayed at a lot of bunkhouses and campsites, but this one really is the best- Alistair and Nicky have thought of everything to make it a haven for anyone who stays there. I have stayed here many times, including once with my boyfriend in the private bunkhouse, twice with groups of 14-18 friends for a bank holiday weekend... More

Nikki and Alistar are really great hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are great, food fantastic and it is wonderful to be able to have an evening meal and know that the food will be excellent (you can also take your own wine/beer, no corkage charge.) They are happy to lend maps and suggest walks. The... More

We had a fantastic 2 nights at Trericket Mill between Christmas & New Year. Alistair & Nicky were perfect hosts, always attentive but never intrusive and full of useful local knowledge. The mill itself is full of character but very comfortable also - we stayed in Annie's room which is spacious and beautifully furnished. The food at Trericket is simply... More

I stayed in the bunkhouses with seven friends and a dog. We found the place really easily, and the owners even stayed up til half eleven to let us in and show us around! Th bunkhouses are really cosy, with super warm gas fires, really comfy beds, hot showers, and a really cool little kitchen area! It's set next to... More

Lovely B&B with great attention to detail. Interesting building that has been sympathetically converted into a very comfortable B&B. The rooms are very nicely furnished with the little points making the world of difference. The home made biscuits with tea on arrival for instance - served with a warm welcome at 22:30! Breakfast was good and hearty. The only draw... More
