The Hotel is one of the very good Hotel you can find in southern part of Sri Lanka. The Management and employees are very helpful and located near Chandrika Lake in Embilipitiya. The Hotel view is very good since the lake side location and there is a small pool also with this hotel. The Mattala Mahinda Rajapakse International Airport is... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights in late August. The first thing we noticed was that the place was rather run-down and looked like a mansion. There were stairs leading to the lobby which was rather inconvenient when carrying heavy backpacks. The lobby looked old, but there was plenty of seating as well as free WiFi. The hotel... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night before moving on to the southern coast. The room we stayed in was spacious, very modern and clean. No comments there. The lobby looks rather outdated but does have free wifi. The restaurant and bar of this hotel, however, are terrible. Not necessarily in terms of the food and service (had better... More

Stayed for 1 night after visiting Uda Walawe National Park. The steepm steps leading to the reception as previous reviews mention will be an issue for people with mobility issues. The hotel was quite of guests when we stayed. The restaurant is huge and only 2 tables were set for dinner, though only my wife and I dined! The food... More

Stayed here on 14th December for one night on full board basis. The room and bathroom were very clean and of a good size. The hotel was quiet except for wedding ceremonies which seem to be a main part of their business. Food was adequate, if unexciting, but this is not an expensive hotel. The dining room is huge and... Large room and toilet, clean linen, view over a lake, in situ spa, ample parking, lots of steep steps to climb to get to the reception (!) and basic food would sum up our experience. To be fair, the hotel is under renovation and the usual entrance is closed. There was a faulty plug point in the room which sparked,... More

First of all don’t forget this is a 2 star hotel and I think some of the present reviews forget that. Location is actually quite good and perfect for a morning or afternoon jeep tour in Uda Walawe National Park … plenty of wild elephants, eagles, crocodiles, jackals and buffalos … don't miss the safari if you can. There was... More

The lake side location of this hotel is great. However, the hotel lobby is currently under renovation, and therefore the windows and curtains are constantly closed, turning the main lobby and restaurant area into a sauna. However, the newly renovated rooms are very good, and the bathrooms are top notch. The food is not really very great, basic buffet dinner... More
