I'm not a fan of B&Bs in general, but due to a lack of options in the area we gave this one a shot and we hit the jackpot. The property was very clean and the owners were very friendly; in fact, so friendly we were too busy chatting in the morning and our bacon was extra crispy! There's a... More

Wonderful from start to finish. Lovely welcome by Moira and Richard, nice room that was spotless. Great attention to detail and the whole process is aimed at making you feel welcome and have an enjoyable stay. Excellent location for visiting St Andrews which is about 5 minutes by car. Tavern pub which is about a 10 min walk away up... More

We were fortunate to book two nights in August and how. We were made to feel welcome from the word go. The lounge, conservatory and garden were at our disposal as were up to date DVDs and local information if the weather had been bad. Moira and Richard should hold a course for prospective B&B owners as their hospitality was... More

Welcoming, clean and thoughtfully prepared accommodation with off-road parking. Super breakfast in delightful conservatory looking out on beautiful garden. Heartily recommended. We were in the area to attend a family wedding at Rufflets, only 5 mins along the road, so Scotscraig was really handy and Moira even ran us along to the hotel.

The wonderful Moira and Richard have put together their B&B with such clear love, thought and care that you cannot fail to feel peaceful, welcome and at home as soon as you walk in. They have thought of the little things that make relaxation easy: comfy, high-quality bedding and towels; tea and coffee in the room; straightforward wifi; top notch... More

Spent one delightful night in this lovely B n B. My friend and I were warmly welcomed and given tea and home baking on our arrival. The breakfast was delicious - all very tastefully presented. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given lifts into St Andrews centre and the train station and, on offering to pay petrol money, we... More

Moira was very welcoming and keen to please, providing a lovely breakfast. The rooms are fine without having any extra flair, and the beds comfortable. Parking is available as is wifi. We stayed in Strathkinness as we had trouble getting accommodation in St Andrews. Limited options to eat but it is only a 10 min drive to St Andrews.

Stayed here for one night last summer whilst walking the Fife Coastal Path and decided this year to visit St Andrews. Decided to stay at Scotscraig again as we enjoyed it so much before. Need a bus to get into St Andrews but that was no hassle. Moira and Richard are lovely people and they keep the B&B immaculate. Moira's... More

Two friends and I stayed at Scotscraig B&B for 6 nights in July as a base while walking the Fife Coastal Path. We have stayed in hundreds B&B's in Britain over several decades and Scotscraig is without doubt one of the very best we have experienced. Situated in a quiet village 3 miles west of St Andrews, everything was perfect.... More
