We stayed at Ranvas in early April 2015 and absolutely loved it. This was our second trip to Rajasthan &, therefore, we've stayed in quite a few hotels in the region - we'd definitely rank Ranvas as one of the top spots. The hotel setting within the renovated havelis of Nagaur fort gives you a unique opportunity to really see... More

Ranvas is within the Nagaur fort and the rooms are restored Haveli's. Rooms are very good, well maintained and always helpful on call full time. Ranvas has got a beautiful swimming pool that is also well looked after. They have also introduced wifi access all over the place. Place is also good for people interested in culture as Nagaur fort... More

Picked Ranvas as one of the highlights for a group trip of India I was putting together, and am very glad I did. Everything about the place was magical and extraordinary: the sunsets from rooftops, with ravens circling the sky and several muezzins' calls to prayer; the palaces in the fort; the magical lighting in the evenings reminiscent of centuries... What a wonderful stay we had at Ranvas Nagur. The place is absolutely beautiful. The havelis around the garden are composed each by 3 rooms and a common veranda and courtyard. The decoration is very tasty. The rooms and bathrooms big and so comfortable. As it was the end of the season and we were quite the only guests in... More

After visiting the marvelous towns of Rajasthan, we finished our trip at the magical Ranvas. Sonia, our fantastic travel agent at Four Wheel Drive Rajasthan came up with this brilliant suggestion. You enter this magnificent fort that was originally built in the 4 th Century and has been recently restored ( work continues). Your room is in one of the... More

Ranvas Haveli is part of the magnificent Nagaur Fort. The walls of the hotel form part of the fabric of the enormous palace. The site is of great historic significance as one of the first strongholds of Muslim power in north India. There is a considerable majesty about the hotel and the conversion is deeply respectful of the syle and... More

A beautiful haveli looking out to the palaces in Nagaur Fort. Greeted with a lemon drink and looked after well. A superb tour round the palaces with beautifully painted interiors of this Fort which is surrounded by a 1.8 km wall. A choice of dinner outside or inside and as the evening was getting cooler, we chose inside. Food was... More

Brilliant hotel, probably the best out of the 6 hotels we stayed at in Rajasthan. Set in the maharajah of Naguar's palace fort, now owned by the Maharajah of Jodhpur. 16 bedrooms, we were upgraded to wonderful spacious suite. Very good food, helpful staff. Rooms have good heating system, there's a great pool, and you get a private guided tour... More

This is a lovely place in much less visited Nagaur. The hotel is really spectacular and once you are within the fort walls you really leave the dust and bustle of Nagaur behind. The rooms are stunning, service excellent and we had lovely food. If you can afford it, go. It's also definitely worth doing the guided tour and the... More

Ranvas is a palace for the soul. Book and enjoy as we did. P.S.: nights get pretty cold during winter in Rajastan, however this hotel does have an efficient heating system in the rooms. Five times a day the air resonates with the adhans from the surrounding minarets calling the fidels to prayer, quite magical.
