Thank you so much Bridget and Keith for making us so welcome and for your fantastic hospitality. Our overnight stay was primarily for our family trip to River Cottage but we loved Spillers Farm so much that it both equalled and rounded off a great experience. We haven't stopped talking about Spillers Farm to friends and family. The rooms are... More

I booked here for my partners 40th birthday, we were travelling from Liverpool to Axminister, eating at the River cottage canteen that evening before taking the one day cookery course at River cottage HQ. We were made to feel so welcome and our superior room was lovely, very spacious, pristine ensuite shower room. Fresh milk in a mini fridge for... More

We stayed at Spillers Farm for 4 nights at the end of July 2014. First impressions was that it was situated on a road that was busier than expected. This however was quickly put to the back of our mind by the beautiful scenery and land (part of the property) to the rear. Not to mention the very friendly and... More

We stopped over to visit River Cottage, which we gather is a lot of their business! Very friendly greeting, pleasant room, fine breakfast of farm-produce food. Sleep was slightly affected by their (very large) dog attempting to exit through the kitchen catflap at around 4.00 a.m. - it succeeded at the expenses of destroying the lower door panel and almost... We are very grateful to this reviewer for his kind words and his recognition of the work that we put in to make all of our guests' visits relaxing and enjoyable. we must apologise once again for our dog's middle of the night antics! He was caught short and thought going through the cat flap would be a good option.... More

Many thanks to Paul and Elaine who have summed up everything we try to do here at Spillers and have perfectly captured the feeling of wandering around our grounds and lake. Thanks also for noting how much we put into the rooms, we try to offer lots of added extras and it's always nice for us when it is appreciated.... More
