Just stayed at kates B and B what an idyllic setting and such a homely gorgeous house. An absolute must for anyone taking a break with there dog. Mr bob, Maisie and fran (all dogs) are nearly as good at hosting as there master is!!!! (Kate). Went for lovely walks with the dogs. The only thing I would say is... More

Thank you very much for this review. I am glad you enjoyed most of your stay but I am sorry you were disturbed on your second night due to noise through the door. I was not aware that the children were so noisy and I am increasing the soundproofing on the door. The clocks changing did not help as children's... More

We stayed here as a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children plus 2 dogs. The purpose of our visit was to celebrate a birthday and for 2 others in the party to go on a fishing trip. We had the warmest of welcomes from Kate and felt very much at home in her lovely home. Breakfast was wonderful... More

Kate you run the fab Bed and Breakfast and we love it especially as we can take our dogs Ola and Dizzy. But it has to be said Kate is as welcome to non dog owners. She does not allow dogs to be on beds or on furniture and all dogs are on a lead during breakfast. Please don.t be... More

Thank you both for this lovely review. It was great seeing you both again and meeting your Mum, Sandy. Mr Bob says thank you for the coat, it was too big for Fern or Maisey, he hates the rain so might give him a bit more get up and go. Hopefully see you all again soon. Kate. More

We had the warmest welcome from Kate. Beautiful farm house loads of character. Garden room was perfect especially with the door direct into the garden as we had our dog with us. Breakfast was perfect, very tasty indeed. Fantastic hostess.

Very nice, quiet and kids 3 & 5 years enjoyed joining Kate to walk the dogs. We had the large family room which was more than big enough for a family of 4. Watch out for Maisy (one of the dogs) she liked to sit on the sofa and lick my ear ☺ The kids also enjoyed the secret toy... More

We (2 adults, 2 small children) stayed here 1 night on our way to south Devon. We slept in the small family room which wasn't at all small! You had bunk beds and a double bed and a basin and use of a shared bathroom opposite the room. The best things for us was the lovely cooked breakfast and the... More

Stayed here for one night as part of our River Cottage Dining experience. Host is very welcoming and we were very happy with our room, which was the large family room. We found the bed really comfortable and was glad we'd booked breakfast for ten so didn't need to rush. Breakfast was lovely, with a large selection of items. If... More

Warm personal service from Kate. Charming cottage with nooks an crannies and a lovely garden. Magnificent breakfast which would rank up there with a top hotel. Perfect location for walkies. Comfy basic room......but so many extras like luxury bathrobes. Kate actually looked after our dogs whilst we attended a wedding for a pre arranged fee. Worth every penny. Thanks Kate,... More

Charming farm, charming host (Kate), not only a B&B, but a familiar and peaceful home to stay....and come back:-)...excellent service and great breakfast cooked to order.
