I organised for our Rotary Cricketing Fellowship to stay at the Takapuna Oaks recently for our annual Cricket Weekend at Devonport. We were a number of couples and single men staying. I found the management so patient and helpful as our numbers and configuration of rooms kept changing. We also organised our Saturday night dinner for 30 people to be... More

i have stayed at Takapuna Oaks before. I love the location and the view from the room. I love the little kitchen and the room setup with sleeping room and small living area. but this time my queen bed really "sucked". it looked very nice and welcoming but it was a soft valley bed. Since I always sleep on my... More

Great place at the end of the Bayswater Ferry from downtown. A quick walk to the top of the hill to this charming little hotel. Great service, super fast Internet and a cute restaurant. Breakfast is included and we used the grill that was living in the parking lot to cook up some fish we got over at the Auckland... More

Lovely 1 bed apartment with washer/dryer all very clean and comfortable. Fab views of Auckland from restaurant and wonderful sunsets. It was our last stop after 3 weeks in NZ , and if we ever go back would stay there again. It was lovely to be able to sit on balcony with a glass of wine before dinner and have... More

We booked a 2 bedroom harbour view suite, for 4 of us, for 7 nights. Kids are 1 and 2. The living space was tremendous. We had other family members staying in the hotel at the same time, and so our apartment became the party place at night. The room itself was very clean and made up every day. The... More

When we stayed at this hotel the first time it was fantastic. Free ferry tickets everyday, a great continental brekky and John? on the front desk a wealth of knowledge. Free parking. A shuttle bus .Clean, spacious etc. It was due to our great first visit we decided to stay again. This time, the ferry tickets were only one per... More

We had two nights in a lovely spacious and very clean apartment overlooking the harbour. A nice balcony to soak up the views while enjoying a glass of wine or two topped things off nicely. We had dinner in the restaurant which has even more awesome views and the meals we ordered were top class. All the staff were very... More

We only spent one night at this hotel but it was way too short. Unfortunately a looming cyclone on the way spoiled it a bit but this had nothing to do with our experience. The staff were very helpful, the views absolutely grand and soo relaxing. We would have loved to have stayed another night. Thanks guys!

We spent one night in this hotel in transit between Paihia and Rotorua. When we arrived at Auckland, we were caught in the dreaded rush hour traffic congestion. Worse, we had problem locating the hotel and almost gave up until we spotted the hotel at one end of Beresford Street. The check in process was swift and pleasant. Our room... More

My husband took me to this quiet boutique type hotel for a birthday treat. Our room was large, lovely with views across the harbour to the bridge and Sky City Tower. The bed however was small. A warm greeting at reception and "Happy Birthday!" was a lovely start. It was a fine summer day so we ventured out for the... More
