Tradewinds - ok. The rooms/furniture is dated and it is a little too far from the action of Fremantle (if that's where you want to be spending your time). The rooms are overpriced in comparison to the rest of Australia but that is just how it is in Western Australia. Service left a little to be desired - I felt... More

We booked in at the Tradewinds to be close to friends we were visiting. What a terrible place!! Over priced, in desperate need of an overhaul. A rabbits warren that is dificult to get around in. The only positive is the restaurant that over looks the Swan River. The food is so so and service lacking. We stayed for 4... More

The staff at the Tradewinds are friendly and helpful, the rooms are average but clean, the breakfast was excellent great Hot Chocolate! There are not many spaces for under cover parking, their phones were not working when we tried to call to see if we could get an early check in and the lift was under repair, so we got... More

This hotel has so much potential, but lacks so much. For the price it is overpriced, everything is so basic. The sliding door locking system, loud and passed the use by date, we could hear our neighbours come and go, the car park gate system, not enough key tags to go around, had to wait for people to check out,... We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with verandah overlooking the river and the view was very nice but the furniture in the rooms is a bit dated and ordinary. One of the bedrooms had no windows and was quite claustrophobic. Overall the rooms are comfortable if not basic, but over priced really. There are no tables and chairs on... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. You have raised some very valid points, a few of which the hotel is already working on like how to better utilise the large area on the 2nd floor which is a portion of the roof and the breakfast offerings. Licensing and permitting restrictions have limited our ability to do more with that... More

I have to admit the place is old, they doing renovations and you can see that they trying to improve the look, (working progress) the restaurant is wonderful, I loved the food. But most of all the service I received from the staff was brilliant it's really rare to get good service these days. And will definitely go back to... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay. I'm glad to hear that you found our staff to be friendly, they certainly work hard so it is nice to be able to pass along positive comments to them. I have forwarded your comments onto the Chef regarding the breakfast. Although we are currently undergoing kitchen and restaurant... More

Renovations currently going on, however no inconvenience experienced. Rooms are very large but average lay out and not very inviting. I was surprised at the price, quite expensive for the product, not great value for money. A little disappointed and I think overrated. Staff were friendly.

stayed 19th & 20th Feb. renovations where still underway. 6:50am the noise started which was a disturbance to our sleep. I would think that with all the noise & construction a lower rate would be in place, or at least breakfast included. Overall i wouldnt reccomend this hotel at all. Restuarant was over priced and only 5 or 6 mains... More

We stayed here for just under two weeks in February 2014. There were a lot of renovations going on during our stay, so we obviously didn't see it at its best. I don't know how far their refurbishment is going, but it could do with a lick of paint at least in some areas around the entrance and lobby. We... More
