Overall, our stay at Hotel Fortuna for our honeymoon was fantastic. At first, I worried a bit about the fact that it wasn't in the center of town, but in retrospect that it made it so much better. This clean, family run, beachfront hotel had everything we needed to launch excursions to anywhere on the island. Someone is almost always... More

The Hotel Fortuna was perhaps our favorite hotel in Croatia, as the location offered a beautiful view from our waterfront balcony and is in a very beautiful and quiet area. Breakfast at the Fortuna was very good but we chose to have dinner a couple of doors down the road. I'm told the restaurant at the Fortuna serves an excellent... More

We spent 3 nights here so we could have a look around my wife’s grandmother’s home island. The hotel was perfect for swims at the pebble beach (get some beach shoes ~40-50 Kuna?) Great food at the hotel restaurant – I went for the seafood and Dalmatian specialties (don’t worry about pasta – try the local food!) The family and... More

This is my idea of a perfect small hotel. The owners are on-site daily, they are very personable and appreciative of your stay, the rooms are modern and super clean, their restaurant is so good there is no need to go elsewhere. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. If our schedule had allowed we would have extended... More

We spent two nights in October in this wonderful family run hotel. It's position a few meters away from the beach makes it a superb location to share a drink under the shade by the seaside. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is excellent. The family makes you feel one of them . It was a wonderful... More

We stayed for a week in August in the busiest part of the High Season, and were totally charmed by the family hotel and taverna on the beach, all run super efficiently and with the utmost care by this charming family. Nothing is too much trouble for them, even their willingness to drive you into Hvar for a few hours,... More

We stayed here for two nights whilst Island hopping round Croatia. This modern family run hotel has everything to offer. Very comfortable room with balcony, modern shower room with very good jet shower, everything one needs. Right opposite a lovely, if stony, beach. Excellent restaurant. Plenty of parking

We walked to Milna from Hvar on the coastal footpath. The footpath is very well marked and great care has been taken to create it. It is very stoney and quite slippy in places. At the end of our walk we stopped at the Hotel Fortuna for a beer and food. We sat outside, next to the beach in the... More

Did the coast walk to Milna from Hvar on a very hot and humid morning. Arrived just after 12 as a local Christening party arrived. We were seated straight away in the outside terrace right on the beach. Initial service was great and the best thing was they came to let us know about the christening and said they might... More

Before I rave about the room, 2 negatives: they (hotel and/or village) need someone to clean the beach of trash/cigarette butts and the room had no paper or pen. We got in for our 3 day stay and unpacked immediately and was amazed that there weren't a ton of useless pillows; individual comforters, a fridge available for our use not... More
