Hotel Selenunda is run by two brothers, Babis and Spiros who are absolutely lovely people who were only too pleased to help with anything we needed. They run this self-catering accommodation that is simple but extremely clean and spacious. We travelled as a group of 6 (5 adults & a 4yr old). We rented a double studio and a family... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view from our balcony was stunning and we loved sitting on our balcony with a beer watching the boats come in and out. Our room was simple but very clean and comfortable, no complaints. Shower was a bit fierce but we got used to it. There are a lot of steps up but... More

Views from the balconies are indeed wonderfull on the sea and the hotel is in a very quiet place. But the rooms are very basic, there's no breakfeast service despite of the price and the hotel is remote both from the port (long steps to clim, and then walk) and from the upper town (car needed).

TripAdvisor did not let me down. I found this hotel on another website and then came to TripAdvisor to see what guests had said. The owners were friendly and very helpful; called a cab for me the day I went to Agios Ioannis, and also drove me to the port the day I left. The view from the room and... More

Really enjoyed my stay at Selenunda and would definitely return. Stayed for 5 nights in July 2012. The view is incredible, as the hotel is situated in the hill above the Loutraki port (the port that services Glossa). The hotel is 150+ steps up from the port, or a short ride up the road. We were met at the ferry... More

When we first booked this accomadation I must say we were a little unsure about the location, since it was so far away from the main town of Skopelos. However we were pleasantly surprised that it was close to all of the spectacular beaches. It was nice to be away from all the hustle and bustle and to focus on... More

The view from the balcony is funtastic - you can see the entire port. Rooms are in good size, nice and clean. You can see atention to small details. The best experience... More

As previous posts have said very well, this is a lovely friendly hotel with superb balcony views that made the steps up to it via the shortcut from the harbour completely worth it! We loved it and were only sorry we hadn't longer. Our room was spacious, light, comfortable and had everything we needed, most importantly the view! Babis and... More

We stayed at the Hotel Selenunda in the last week of June 2011, and after seeing great reviews on this site we were hoping to have a nice week staying there. We weren't disappointed. Hotel Selenunda is perched on the hillside of Loutraki, overlooking the harbour, and the views from almost all of the apartments stretch all the way from... More

My husband and I spent the first week of our honeymoon here. Our studio had everything we needed - air con, towels, en suit bathroom with a shower on the wall, basic cooking facilities and a fridge. We also had good wifi and a balcony with a fantastic view over Loutraki Harbour. Loutraki is a great place to stay. It... More

Perched on the hillside of Loutraki, the port of Glossa, Skopelos is the Hotel Selenunda. The hotel has spacious self-catering apartments overlooking the sea and the port, making it an ideal base for exploring Skopelos. Family owned and operated, the Hotel Selenunda gives true island hospitality for all who visit. Our studios and apartments are tastefully designed with wood and tile. All are equipped with kitchen, bathroom with shower, air conditioning, television, and balcony with stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the island of Skiathos. Hotel Selenunda’s excellent location is just steps away from Glossa’s port, allowing you to easily access other islands, including Skiathos. If you’re travelling by car, Hotel Selenunda also offers free private parking. Close to Glossa is Agios Ioannis (St. John), a church/monastery located high upon a rock. It is a breathtaking site. It was the site of the wedding scene in the movie "MAMMA MIA". Our hotel, Hotel Selenunda, is the closest one to this church.
