I stayed in the top floor veranda room with a view of the Baltic and the town itself. Incredible, deck to yourself, total privacy, and, most importantly, quiet, in an otherwise somewhat noisy environment. My biggest concern, knowing the hotel shares a building with O'Leary's sports bar (downstairs and off to the side) was that this was going to be... More

Stayed with husband and daughter in this lovely hotel in the center of Visby for 3 nights. Very cosy and beautiful small hotel, a lot of attention put into small details as candles in the public facilities during the whole day allthough middle of July. Friendly staff, at least in the reception, very elegant rooms with trendy decor. Great breakfast,... More

Stayed for a night at Hotel 1 during a business trip to Visby a week ago. Upon arrival I was met by friendly staff in the lobby, but did not see much more of them (or anyone else) until departure. I was informed that the hotel was only staffed parts of the day due to the fact that it is... More

My wife and I travelled to Visby from London during the summer, we had such a great experience here that we felt compelled to review. These guys are so lovely - a family run place in a great location. They have clearly paid great attention to detail in things like decor + breakfast. Furthermore, they were extremely helpful in helping... More

I wish all hotels were like this. It's chic with warm and easygoing owners. The rooms are delightful, quiet, with good windows and good lighting. Beds are so comfortable. We found all beds in Copenhagen and Stockholm wonderful, but this one was the best. The bathroom is stylish and efficient. Breakfasts are in a separate building, that looks like a... More

Filthy hotel room (shower) and unfriendly staff. We are very disappointed with this hotel and especially its staff which were both unfriendly and unhelpful. These people should not even be in the hotel industry since they don't seem to like having guests. It should be great fun to stay in a hotel, but in the future we (and our friends)... More

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely hotel run by a very nice family! We are both used to business hotels due to work. The stylish but cosy Hotel 1 is a nice change. Bests beds and atmosphere ever in a hotel! There are great restaurants just around the corner but reservations are always recommended! Hotel 1 is our first... More

Hotel1 is a hotel dedicated to design, ie all rooms have their own style. Me and my partner have stayed in 2 of the rooms and enjoyed the feeling of luxury they gave. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable (if a little too soft to my taste) and the bathrooms without flaws (if you don't expect a... More

The worst customer service ever! It's not a hotel as has no hotel services! It's a bed and breakfast. Breakfast is very poor no hot options and not even fresh pastries even tho there are bakers around! Very disappointed as it was a 30th birthday trip! We were told we didn't need to book restaurants as it was out of... More
