We stayed 4 nights at this wonderful little hotel that consists of 5 little houses around an impressive church ruin. First of all, the people working at the hotel were genuinely friendly and provided an excellent service. You can tell this is a family run business that members of staff are very passionate about and demonstrate how guests are made... More

We could not have been more pleased with this charming hotel that was truly beyond our expectations! We stayed there 3 nights, arrived quite late and had to leave early morning due to ferry schedule, yet arrangements were made for us to obtain our room key and a tasty buffet breakfast was available our final morning, at 6:20 a.m.! The... More

We loved the charming little hotel of St. Clemens, adjacent to one of the lovely ruined churches of the town. The staff spoke English well and were more than helpful with all our questions. We had to leave very early our last morning on the ferry to Stockholm, and they arranged a delicious picnic lunch for us to take with... More

You can't beat the location. The service was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable enough. The shower was a bit underwhelming but the rooms were clean. My biggest overall complaint is that our room was in a WiFi dead zone, so I had to leave the room and sit in the courtyard if I wanted to get online. The... More

We recently spent two wonderful nights at this cozy inn within the city walls of Visby. Traveling with a small dog in Sweden can sometimes be challenging, but the staff at St. Clemens couldn't have been more welcoming. Our room even included a water bowl and a pet comforter. Our room was quite large (15 ft x 15 ft), offered... More

Very nice staff, adequate (but not great) breakfast, decent room, but my pet peeve was the bathroom. It is a turnoff for me when a shower is separated from the rest of the bathroom only with a shower curtain. The floor in the entire bathroom gets wet. There was no counter space and no soup/shampoo provided. Good thing we brought... More

Credit where credit is due...and really the family who own this lovely hotel deserve plenty of praise!. Yes, it's a little noisy at times if your room faces on to the Botanical Gardens..,you will have people walking past your window and a certain amount of traffic noise at times, other than that it's hard to find fault with this charming... Hotel St. Clemens is definitely recommendable lodging in Visby. It has the quirky charm that's appropriate in such an old town. All rooms are different so we can only comment on ours, a 2nd floor with outside access. It was a bit dark but a skylight helped. The view from the sitting area was the Botanical Garden and from the... More

As already stated, it is a cute little hotel/B&B in the old town. We changed our room, as we were very uncomfortable, with people walking past and starring constantly into it. Every room seems to be very different (I've seen three different ones, in size and furnishings), so be aware, or talk to the nice staff about your preferences. And... More

Super stay at Hotel St Clemens! Wonderfully welcoming staff and excellent, clean, large, private room. We were given a choice of rooms and all were great. Family owned and cared for. Easy to book from afar. Everything is well within walking distance. Definitely stay here again!
