Great value for the money. Great location - just a stone's throw away from the city wall. The hotel lobby and rooms were bright, cheery and very clean. The hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice and the courtyard inviting. We arrived by ferry in the wee hours of the morning. Accessing our room was not a problem.... More

Excellent hospitality. The staff was as friendly as our neighbour. They were fun and joyful to deal with. The room was top notch and for the price that we paid!It was a bargain to the the experience of our staying, including me and my family!

We stayed only for a night in May, and didn't stay in the main house. We were in the Annex, which is next door, accessible with a separate code. The room was very bright and cheery, but on the first floor, and was pretty noisy. We also shared a bathroom, but that wasn't a problem. Staff were helpful in lining... More

I stayed at this hotel in August 2013. I was very jet lagged and the staff helped me with everything I needed. I stayed in the annex with a shared bathroom, which was completely fine and kept to a clean pleasant standard. At one point I needed something printed out from an email and the reception people were only too... More

This is a great hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which is alway nice. The hotel is decorated in a modern way (a lot of white), but it is still very cosy. There is a sitting area near the reception where it is very nice to sit and spend some time before going out for dinner. The breakfast... More

Can't get better than this. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The property is clean, as was the room. The room is small, but comfortable. The breakfast, which is included is wonderful. The location is perfect; it is across from the harbor and the building is part of the city wall. You are inside the wall within steps.... More

We had a 6 days short vacation in Visby, Gotland, Sweden and stayed at Hotel Stenugnen (translated to Stone Oven ). The small hotel is situated near the harbour in the old town and I must confess that we fell in love with it immediately. Skipping the lyrics some facts: It is very tidy, the personnel (four young ladies) were... More

One night stay in this hotel was good experience. Hotel is small and very cozy place to stay. My room was quite small but nicely decorated. Bathroom was bit cold but otherwise ok. Everything was extremely clean and decorated in sea-style. Lounge had nice sofa and chairs where we could spend some time with my friends in the evening. Breakfast... More

"Do not judge a book from its cover" it might look small compare with the other surrounding hotels in the area. Hotel Stenugnen provide a safe and welcoming environment,a feeling of home away from home. Both staffs, ELLINORE and ERICA were very helpful. Breakfast were splendid with good variety of choices. The yummy home made bread and the super yummy... More
