I had wanted to visit Gotland for 20 years but its not too easy to get to from the UK.When we finally decided to go we found it difficult (in April) to find accomodation for July. We were offered a room in the annexe in Stenungnen (without en-suite ) and booked it as it seemed that otherwise we could have... More

We stayed here 2 nights while we attended the Medieval Festival in Visby. Our room was upstairs, because we needed a third bed, which made it warmer in August but after opening the window plus the ceiling fan there was a nice breeze. Breakfast selection was very good and great tasting. There were cookies and tea available around the clock... More

We stayed at the Stenugnen in Visby in the last week of July for 2 days. The location is really very convenient, right next to the harbour on the brink of the old town (which is breath-taking). We stayed in the annex in the family room with two children (3 and 4), which was very spacious just right for us.... More

We stayed for 2 nights in June and found it to be a very pleasant hotel with such a convenient location for the ferry and for exploring Visby. Breakfast was nice and there was coffee available through the day. We enjoyed relaxing in the lobby as well. The room was bright and clean. I would definitely recommend!

Great value for the money. Great location - just a stone's throw away from the city wall. The hotel lobby and rooms were bright, cheery and very clean. The hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice and the courtyard inviting. We arrived by ferry in the wee hours of the morning. Accessing our room was not a problem.... More

Excellent hospitality. The staff was as friendly as our neighbour. They were fun and joyful to deal with. The room was top notch and for the price that we paid!It was a bargain to the the experience of our staying, including me and my family!

We stayed only for a night in May, and didn't stay in the main house. We were in the Annex, which is next door, accessible with a separate code. The room was very bright and cheery, but on the first floor, and was pretty noisy. We also shared a bathroom, but that wasn't a problem. Staff were helpful in lining... More

I stayed at this hotel in August 2013. I was very jet lagged and the staff helped me with everything I needed. I stayed in the annex with a shared bathroom, which was completely fine and kept to a clean pleasant standard. At one point I needed something printed out from an email and the reception people were only too... More

This is a great hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which is alway nice. The hotel is decorated in a modern way (a lot of white), but it is still very cosy. There is a sitting area near the reception where it is very nice to sit and spend some time before going out for dinner. The breakfast... More

Can't get better than this. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The property is clean, as was the room. The room is small, but comfortable. The breakfast, which is included is wonderful. The location is perfect; it is across from the harbor and the building is part of the city wall. You are inside the wall within steps.... More
