I was here for a conference and found this place to be interesting. It was obviously built to cater to the skiing crowd but my purpose was only to use it as a hotel as I was here strictly for business. I had mixed feeling about this place as there were some things I liked and things I did not.... More

Classic ambience...friendly staffs.. Lovely surrounding ...superb view! Just the right place to be with your loved ones not only during winter but all year around. This hotel is located at one of Korea’s most famous mountain peak ski resorts. Covering an area of over seven million square meters, the resort is located in the Gucheon-dong Valley, at the base of... More

The resort is built in Austria Tirol style, love the room and really great experience at the resort, beautiful and comfortable bed. Only cons is the continental breakfast is considered too small and not filling. Other than that no complain :p

CY ( 1998 ) There is a very beautiful and fantastic facility. We stay in alpine room one day, and stay tirollian room next day. room is antique, European and high classic. Room, service, facility and atmosphere is very good. This hotel got fame because of Michael Jakson's staying when he visit Korea. But, there are a several room grade,... More

Travelled to Muju resort over Christmas 2012 and stayed at Kookmin Hotel. A couple of tips to travelers who plan to go to Muju Resort: 1. Getting there - Best option is to take bus from Seoul Nambu Bus Terminal to Muju City (about 2.5hrs, about 13k won) then switch to Resort Shuttle Bus (free). If you miss the Shuttle,... More

A large ski resort hotel with spacious rooms, good food and excellent service in an unspoilt natural setting. There are many good restaurants in close proximity and many things to do in the area whatever the season. If you are looking for somewhere where the air is as pure as can be, this is the place to come. No swimming... More

The hotel itself is nowhere near a 5 star standard and is very expensive to stay in, but hey it is RIGHT on the ski slopes and there is basically nothing wrong with the hotel - just not what you expect. It is faux Austrian Tirol and that in itself is amusing seeing Koreans in Dirndles etc. Breakfast buffet is... More

My family and i stayed in this hotel for a night as part of a group tour. I believe this location should be good in particular during winter season. As we are here in the summer, we didn't see any skiing action t all (expectedly). As we arrived here on a tour bus, i can't really say much about the... More

After a three and half hours ride from Seoul and looking forward to a sking holiday, we were quite worried as there was not one bit of snow to be seen anywhere except brown hills and brown landscape ! Our car arrived at the Tirol hotel which looked a bit run down from the outside but I felt it maybe... More

I was skeptical about staying at this resort, but we had a blast. We stayed at Hotel Tyrol. Although it is a bit tacky, the great service made it all worth it. The room was large and clean and comfortable. The ski services were great (better than in some places on the East Coast of the U.S. for sure). And... More
