For the Sydneysiders out there: Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort (EBTR) is the Central Coast's answer to the Roman Forum on Norton Street. This place is like a confusing kitsch shopping mall with a food court and market on the ground floor and a badly laid out labyrinth of tudor/greco-roman style motel rooms above. EBTR proudly advertises its establishment in 1999,... More

This is truly remarkable place. I scratch my head in real confusion to why people would not rate this wonderful attraction. All I can say is I had a delightful stay. Larry was a true gentleman and showed real passion for his work. Please give this place a chance you will not regret it.

With many restaurants to entice the palette, the markets on the weekend, from food, clothing, plants and various other interesting outlets. Music in the piazza and an Art Deco theatre. The accommodation is comfortable, clean but a little dated. But venturing upstairs to you room is Italian or Venetian and you are transported to another place. With intimate balconies, fresco work... Our room was quite comfortable however the bed was not a king as requested, parking was a problem as there was insuffiecient, the restaurants were nice but some were very pricey for the food you get, the breakfast we had at the cafe downstairs was awesome and great value

Myself and 4 friends took advantage of the Seniors package. We were very impressed with the service and the rooms.Big white towels!! I measure the accommodation by the quality of the towels and these sure passed the test. Dinner each night at a different restaurant and lunches at local clubs a bonus. A 94year old lady travelling on her own... More

Must be my sixth or seventh stay here. Wonderful, intriguing and professional setup which delights us every time. The owners seem to have bought and remodeled this resort as a bit of a pet project and nearly every time we visit, something has changed. The rooms! Comfortable, CLEAN, quiet and furnished with lovely old gear, some possibly valuable. Tonight, it's... More

My husband and I (both American, both well-traevelled) are globe trotters who appreciate unique places to stay. Our stay at Ettalong Beach Resort was spectacular. We couldn't have been happier with the place. The room was spacious, had a four-post bed and charming appointments (such as an antique vanity and Italian-style chairs) that gave it a homey character. Was it... More

Definitely worth the stay if you're after something different and cultured. The quiet hallways below the hotel turn into a busy market place on weekend afternoons, with music and singing. By 5pm its all quiet again. The oonly couple of flaws with this hotel was there was no parking on weekends whilst the parking was used for jumping castles, and... More

Thanks for reviewing our property and we are happy you enjoyed your stay. It sounds like you may have visited our place during our annual Italian festival, which is a fabulous time to experience all things Italian, but can make things very busy. We do also offer Queen rooms, but these may have been booked due to the busy nature... More

We spent alot of time just in this resort as it has a wonderful array of restaurants and cafes, lovely little markets and kids activities. The staff were wonderful, we had a very pleasant stay. We had 6 rooms and 3 of which shared a large balconcy which we enjoyed breakfast and chilled out together. Will definitely be coming back.... More

We appreciate you taking the time to review our motel and are glad you were able to take advantage of our open plan style outdoor areas - perfect for groups. I do apologise Shampoo wasn't available during your stay as this is normally provided by our housekeeping. We do hope you will return again to enjoy our facilities. More
