We spent the New years eve on this 2 day live aboard trip. The diving crew was the most professional and caring we experienced in Philippines. The food was various and really good. The reef itself is just amazing. In the resort everything is also done professionally, rooms comfortable and clean. The management is very welcoming and enthusiastic in providing... More

The resort is pretty nice, but it's definitely over priced for the Philippines. In addition I found the management to be very money hungry; it felt as if their focus was to make as much money from me as possible, rather than to make sure I had the best possible experience. That really puts me off a place. The rooms... More

Never visited a place where I felt the most welcomed, comfortable and..on a holiday! Surroundings in the rural area of Occidental Mindoro makes you feel that you're part of something privileged, and the staff makes you feel even more so. If you're into diving, there's your place, too. Chance to see and experience the Apo Reef in it's glory is... More

Liveaboard dive boat (for 2-day excursions to the reef) is highly recommended. Staff is friendly, well-managed, and highly competent. Dive master and management team from Switzerland is focused on comfort, safety, and enjoyment - they are great hosts!

We had a good three days at the resort and on the boat. Setting up the booking was fine, done through a series of emails and SMS'. On arrival they arranged the pick up from the airport on their 4x4 and when we got to the resort their was a nice cold buko (coconut) waiting. The room was large, clean... More

Michael and his staff go out of their way to make you trip a life time memory. Armando was fantastic, good cook and always there to assist. The resort is a piece of paradise with really nice rooms. They go steps above other dive resorts.

Excellent dive experience, Apo Reeef may be compared someway to Koror the area in Palau Republic, Micronesia, for the abundancy of fish. Excellent the service and the assistance, some more attention to meals on board, during the two or three days out of the resort. The final price, once paid the dive safari and the crazy marine park fees, comes... More

Lovely staff who go to the extra effort of making you feel at home and welcome. Rooms were clean and basic but had everything you needed. Everything was well organised, and they greeted us with our own mugs (with our names on it) and really tried to tailor everything to our needs. immense attention to detail. We spent 2 days... More

We stayed at the backpackers room for 2 nights before a bungalow was available. The backpackers room has 2 single beds. When we were there there were no curtains. The bungalow is very nice. Comfortable bed, attention to detail (umbrellas, torch, safe, plenty of towels, washing line outside). An area where they could really improve in is the food. It... More

I am an european expatriate living in Manila for almost 5 years and I have been in resorts of all kinds throughout the Philippines. There is a variety of amazing places for diving or not: El Nido, Coron, the whale sharks in Donsol, Malapascua Island and its thresher sharks, Boracay, Bohol, etc. Apo Reef, while not as spectacular as the...
