We decided to end the Philippine summer by travelling as a couple to the Camotes Islands. As I have visited the islands several times prior and stayed at the resorts in San Francisco during those times, we decided to go to Poro this time and stay at the My LIttle Island Hotel. What we found was a hotel that was... More

Jack Nicholson in the Shining took control of a hotel in winter and he went mad . . . . This hotel reminds me of that movie It's weird place after staying here for 4 days at 1800 a night I have mixed views. On one hand it is a pleasant place to stay with a good swimming pool, tasty... More

I love Camotes Island and I love My Little Island Hotel, even the name is fantastic I think.....the only thing I can say negitive if you can call it that, is the strange way they only have one tap, and thats warm, no cold......so I guess thats a positive to anyone not wanting cold water...hehe.......the other negative would be no... Travelled here from Mangodlong where we where staying. We wanted to visit and probably stay here. Long drive to get here and when you arrived first thing you notice is the isolation and quitness. For honeymoon, when you only want one other person PERFECT. For families, too quiet and remote. Beautiful views and swimming pool. Furnishing etc lovely.Penthouse accomodation with... More

We came to My Little island resort primarily for the highly rated views (as per some people we had heard). However, do note - it is more of a hill top resort - interesting views of the island (I found them ok - I expected some coral fringed waters, but sadly did not see any of that), nothing stunning, lots... The hotel charged me for a night that I was stranded in Cebu because if typhoon conditions not allowing ferry boats. We ate one meal, and had two "free" continental breakfasts. The dinners totaled 700php, suddenly it's now 2100php. The manager cited use of Tabasco sauce, two extra orders of toast with butter from our "free" breakfast!! It is a... More

I never heard of Camotes island before. My sister told me that it can be considered as little Boracay because of its white sand beaches. But in any how, this place is just A-mazing! The view is just breath-taking expecially when you're staying at this hotel. It's on a hilltop giving you the best scene you could ever think of!... More

My little island hotel is situated on a hilltop that enjoys a great sea view. You can reach the hotel through ferry from Danao, which is getting frequent by summer season. There might be fast boats from Cebu as well, just ask around. The hotel arranges pick up from the port and once you enter you'll be greeted by the... More

Keen to visit the Camotes Islands, I booked this hotel as in reality the only upmarket one there ! I took the Golden Express ferry from Cebu Port, a journey of just over two hours in a filthy, rusty old vessel with very limited leg room . Randy, the charming hotel driver, met me at Poro for the twenty minute... More

The Camotes Islands are a new tourist desitinations and there are only a few hotels. This one is - by a distance - the best in terms of quality. I liked: - the staff (they enthusiastically tried to be great hosts) - the rooms (do not expect 5 star - but all amenities are there; beds are very good and,... More
