The area is great, sleeping In a tent, bungalow or treehouse next to the river, you can drink or eat above the river if you like. We spend one night in a bungalow: more than enough room for two (2 single beds, 1double), bathroom. And one night in a treehouse (great to experience, in it: just 2 double beds a... More

The Saklikent Gorge is great, but don't do the "rafting". What they call "rafting" is actually crappy rubber rings, that you can't manoeuvre at all. It's less fun that anything else you could do in the water, including swimming or just walking. And the water is so shallow that you get your buttocks ripped by the stones under. We said... More

Gorge is fantastic, definitely worth the 5.50TL entry fee, but this is a TERRIBLE place to stay. Tree houses are probably not safe -floor is decidedly wonky. Hot at night, then cold in early hours. Very confused roosters who crowed all night. There also seemed to be a lot of noise from people. Best to avoid if you want a... More

We arrived mid september and were given perfect directions for the dolmus from fetiye - unfortnunatly it was a national holiday so the buses were not running however Halil the owner arranged a car for us which was very welcome after a long travel. We stayed 3 nights in a treehouse which was very clean, spacious - enough for 2double... More

Strange atmosphere here, strange people running it (not all, there is a German talking guy here who is really nice). I arrived here in the morning after taking the nightbus and changed to the dolmus in Fethiye. My first impression of the area was good, a very nice and relaxing area. It already started when checking in. The dorm wasn't... More

My Fiancé took me here for a surprise. When we arrived we were welcomed by a lady who was very accommodating. She gave us a deal with a BBQ dinner and breakfast and a night in the tree house for a really good price. We had never stayed anywhere like this before and it was magical. We laid next to... More

The rafting experience was sold as being suitable for ages 5-70. We were travelling with children aged 9-13 so booked the 45 minute session. We were told it would be an accompanied journey. In the event our youngest boy got stuck on some rocks (at points it is very shallow). The guide was nowhere to be seen having gone to... More

We stayed in a treehouse as part of a tour around Turkey. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you value your life. The staircase to our treehouse was falling apart and I'm pretty sure if we were any heavier it would have collapsed. Others in our group were placed in tree houses with mattresses on the floor, some with a... More

Stayed here for the treehouse, but dont reccomemd. It's a good location on the gorge but paying as much as we did I at least expected the treehouse's walls to meet the roof. The staff were weird and always too busy for us even when no one was around. Seemed annoyed when we were asking questions, but we were only... More

Having visited the Gorge a couple of times, and been approached by Gorge Club staff we decided to return for rafting on the rubber rings. All the advertising states "45mins or 1hr 30mins includes mud bath", which was what the children wanted to do. So having paid for 45mins, we floated down the river for 15mins and then spent 30mins...
