The hotel itself is quite nice, rooms are large and equipped with a kitchen corner, so perfect for a weekend getaway at a reasonable cost. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes, and several indoors activities available for non-skying people. However, be aware that there are many kids around, and things can get very noisy at times. Unfortunately the building is... More

I took a day trip to the park with a tour agency to go skiing. The facilities at this park were nicer than I expected. There are several restaurants in the park that will be familiar to westerners. The snow is man made however, it was not icy on the day I visited. This park has runs for everyone, the... More

I'm a bit of a scrimper so I found almost all the hotels in the area rather pricey. We got a 2 bedroom apartment type room. By this I mean it had its own kitchen and dining and living areas. It's right across the slopes as well so it had a good view. What's nice as well is they have... More

Just returned from a ski trip at Vivaldi Park with a fantastic experience. Early planning is essential particularly if one wants to enjoy the facility to the fullest. 1. Room booking With all emphasis on the Cherry room by TA reviewers, I went through all sources to book one, including asking my Korean business counterpart to assist in calling the... More

It's up on a mountain, appr. 1.5h drive from center of seoul. Very convenient. There are different courses for different level skill, lift queue is pretty long when we were there. It was Saturday by the way. Not much foreigners were seen there. It's much or less like a place local people are very fond of. There is a canteen... More

We went there recently from 24th-26th of Nov 2014. The place was beautiful plus great weather. We managed to play ski for the first time. Kids really enjoyed themselves. Few things disappoint us: 1) Staff at Front desk/counter (both hotel/ski world) didn't speak English at all. 2) No wifi and we only managed to get news of our late brother who... More

Stayed here for several days during a conference. It wasn't during ski season. I stayed in the Oak block, which is older. There is no internet connection here (or at least none that I know of). The units in Maple block at least have Ethernet ports in the room for wired connection. Overall the room was clean, and reasonably sized.... More
