Introducing skiing to a 4 year old was not an easy task and we had been looking everywhere for a convenient location which has a ski slope within walking distance, a ski school and a resort with activities. We stumbled onto Vivaldi Park's website and got ourselves a family room at the Cherry Building. The family room consists of 2... More

This resort would be a ghost town out of the skiing season if not for the locals who stay there on some time-share package. I was there in Spring and many locals could be seen barbequeing in the parks. Rooms were quite large with a separate room for "tatami style" sleeping. The biggest joke was the teeny bath towels which... More

Visited here last January with my friends. We stayed for the day for our first ski trip. Its quite close, only 1 hr ride on a bus from Seoul. I went during weekdays but the place was packed with local tourists. Lack of English signboards and information, luckily an English speaking staff approached and helped us as the sales counter... This was a great experience for skiing. The hotel was very nice and complete with kitchen and kitchen utensils. It was great for such a low price per night. We went skiing and snowboarding (you can only choose one per person because you pay for either the skis or the snowboard). We got there by bus from Seoul, took about... More

The Vivaldi Park ski resort is one of the closest ski resorts from Seoul. However, this means that it is also quite crowded. We went on a Friday, and the wait times were 15~30 minutes for a ski lift. However, the ski resort itself is quite nice. The last time I went there I stayed at the Cherry rooms. This... More

We took a tour package for a 3 days 2 nights trip to Vivaldi Ski resort (at Gangwon which is abt 1.5hrs drive from Central Seoul) as this was apparently one of the nearer ski resorts. The pickup was good but you when you reach the resort at 11nish, you have to wait around 45 minutes to 1 hour since... More

Great family holiday destination especially for those with young children who would like to experience winter and have a go at skiing for the first time. The resort offers a good range of activities for both adults and kids as well as food & beverage options. Come Christmas, the festive lights and decorations turn this into a magical winter wonderland... More

The Vivaldi Ski World is a small jewel for skiing. It is very close to Seoul, 1-2 hours by bus depending on traffic. There are buses to take you there which makes it very convenient and easy (many people go just for the day). The park is not very big and the runs are not the most challenging but the... More

Resort is located near Seoul, good for family with young children. They do not have many English speaking staffs but once you need help, they go all the way to look for one that can speak English. Do not bother to try on the spot booking of ski coach as they do not have standby English coach. The negative point... More

We had been at Vivaldi Park on Dec 2013. It was my first time there and skiing with my friends and sister. In fact it was our first time in South Korea. We stayed in the old room with nice view, difficult to find an English speaking officer. The scenery around the hotel area is outstanding. Comfort stays overall speaking,... More
