Great place to stay. It consists of 2 hotels: Nothofagus and Magic Mountain. We stayed in Magic Mountain which is really magic. Very nice staff, good breakfast and nice trails to hike. Also for children nice boardwalks and trails. Don't forget to go to the swimming pool of the hotel. After all day hiking this is very relaxing, there are... More

Stayed with family for 2 nights in a standard room with great view. One extra bed fits into the room . The whole hotel area is nice with plenty of activities around to chose from. The hotel is rather expensive but very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel is a crazy construction completely in wood and only the architechture of... More

As someone interested in nature and architecture I could not believe what I was seeing when I arrived and the words, What the .....! left my mouth. Fortunately it was just my partner and I in the car. It was his surprise and I was definitely surprised a giant tree house in the forest, all of a sudden I was... More

We stayed at the hotel between the 21 and June 24. Upon arrival we tryed to eat something in the restaurant but they were preparing the place for dinner, so they asked us to change to a cold and uncomfortable part of the room. The SPA area was unheated, very cold to use a swimming suit. The SPA pool was... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, from July 13 -16, mid-winter season in Chile. Booked a room on the fourth floor and expected to have a stunning view of the trees and forest. We could see the trees but we also had a view of the roofs of the surrounding buildings, such as the other hotels, indoor pool,... More

We expected this hotel to be good but it surpassed all expectations. Stunning building, lovely staff and the setting is just awesome. Watching the sunset from our balcony whilst drinking a glass of gorgeous wine and nibbling on the complementary chocolates was something that will live long in our memories. Our guide for the walk through the forest was also... More

We stayed in February and it was a family trip (in laws and husband and I). Everything was great, specially the location. Building is gorgeous!! Only downside and quite a disappointment is that the spa is far from being a relaxing area. It was more like a public swimming pool at a leisure centre as there was children everywhere. I... More

The buildings at Huilo-Huilo, including the Nothofagus( named after a species of tree) are rather bizarre wooden structures. Spirals abound with trees popping thru the rubber clad roofs. A long bumpy road gets you there for what is a unique experience with otherworldly ambiance. The room was nice with a forest view. The restaurant starts dinner at 7:30 and the... More

If one is to truly enjoy the Eco fairyland that is Huilo Huilo, it s necessary to suspend disbelief and accept the magical, mysterious premise of its creators. That liberal acceptance must extend to the accommodations and especially the staff of Montana Magica and Nothofagus hotels. There are many intriguing and enjoyable features in the preserve, including its nature trails,... More

We were so excited to be in a lodge that really looked like the Ewok Village from Star Wars. The hotel itself is fantastic and we couldn't get over it. However, there were a few things that soured the experience. I have to preface all of this with the fact that I'm a Spanish speaker and there were not any... More
