Yes, it's a country Inn with excellent beers and pretty good food, the bar was very lively on Thursday night with the locals having a sing along - complete with guitars - and they weren't bad at all, mind you we had been on the great beers and were singing along very loudly :-) Friday was very busy with a... We love this place. We have had Christmas Dinner here and it was without doubt one of the best we have had.We were in Grinton again this New Year and decided to book their New Years Eve meal and yet again it was excellent. This is a great traditional country pub that serves great food. It has a great atmosphere... More

We wanted to do something different for New Year's Eve and settled on the Bridge Inn. Shortly after booking we were contacted by Andy, the Landlord, to ask whether we would like to like to partake of their NYE menu and would we like to select our choice of food. It was a set price menu starting with a glass... More

The Bridge Inn is perfectly placed to explore large areas of the Yorkshire Dales. You can do a good day's moor and river walks from the inn itself. It's a typical old fashioned country pub - the bar was doing brisk business all weekend at the end of November, which is a good recommendation. Good ales, log fire, plenty of... More

Pretty pub in beautiful location, very popular with walkers, tourists etc. Great stopping off point for a drink as we did recently while in the area for the day. Never had a meal here as we usually eat in the pubs in Reeth, so unable to comment on the food, but it's very pleasant to sit outside on a warm... More

But if you are looking for a warm friendly old fashioned pub offering good beer with excellent food then this is for you! Yes it isn't smart gastro pub but welcomes muddy boots, dogs and locals.
